00:18 I'm only saying that we are disbursing some checks close
00:21 to about 8 million.
00:22 And we were disbursing to the whole of Kiambu County.
00:25 And the minimum we have given is about 8,000.
00:28 Because in the kitty of the woman rep is very small.
00:30 So you give some money that has some impact.
00:33 So we are giving between 8,000 and 10 for the universities
00:37 and boarding secondary schools.
00:38 So I can still assure people that in the next few weeks,
00:41 we will still be disbursing some other forms
00:43 for the next quarter of the bursary for the woman rep
00:45 kitty.
00:46 But I can also assure people that there will also
00:48 be bursaries from the constituency MPs.
00:50 And there would also be bursaries
00:52 for the county government from the governor, which
00:54 is going to use the MCES to come and distribute
00:56 in the constituencies.
00:57 So as people go to school on the 8th,
01:00 I am sure we'll be having money to distribute to these people.
01:03 Because even in the office of the woman rep,
01:04 there's checks we have just given up for last year.
01:07 So this year, we still are expecting some more money
01:09 in the next two weeks.
01:10 I'm glad because we as leaders, we
01:12 should unite when we are doing good things.
01:15 We should also unite as a government
01:19 because all this kitty is for helping our people.
01:22 And in future, I know in the coming weeks,
01:25 we'll be disbursing the checks from the county kitty.
01:29 That is $100 million that we gave our forms
01:32 to our beneficiaries.
01:34 And me, I would urge, or I would request our governor,
01:37 Honorable Wamatangi, His Excellency Wamatangi,
01:41 to make sure that we lead to try even for the form ones who
01:44 have not yet benefited from the last disbursement.
01:48 I know the parents for the form one students
01:51 are eagerly waiting to hear whether they'll
01:54 be given their share.
01:57 And as leaders, we'll push because we'll
02:00 be back to the assembly, to our assemblies, to our county.
02:04 We'll push that we have a form one kitty that
02:08 will be disbursed in the whole county,
02:10 so as also the form ones.
02:12 And bearing in mind that the form ones' requirement are so
02:16 high, or the amounts are very high,
02:20 plus the other requirements, we should act very fast
02:24 to ensure that even the form ones who
02:26 are admitted to various schools, that they also
02:30 gain from our disbursement.
