00:00 at the way you wanted to, but it was still just a seven point ball game.
00:02 What were the conversations like at halftime?
00:05 And then how did things get away from you after the break?
00:07 We talked about we got to keep fighting, you know, it's like we quit.
00:12 You know, we didn't play as a team and we went together out there.
00:16 So when you're not together and you don't have a fight out there
00:18 and let people punk you, that's what happened.
00:20 The I know you're not an inside guy, but, you know, the pain points
00:26 are really lopsided.
00:27 What do you think happened there?
00:28 Because they seem like they were just getting the ball inside it.
00:30 Well, pretty much.
00:32 I feel like they just they didn't really settle for threes.
00:35 They just attacked the paint like we should.
00:37 You know, I feel like we too much settle and not try to get in a paint
00:41 and try to force at what point do you feel like it really got guys?
00:46 And what happened?
00:48 I say in the second half, like toward like halfway through,
00:51 it's like we quit and didn't play the game.
00:54 I know you guys are really talented, you're competitive.
00:57 You just said we quit.
00:58 How hard is it to say that about yourself and your teammates?
01:02 I mean, it hurts, you know, knowing that when we play as a team,
01:06 we're a good team, but tonight was just one of the nights.
01:09 I know it's just one game.
01:10 You got 17 SEC games left.
01:13 But how do you bounce back from a performance like,
01:15 especially when the next two are on the road?
01:17 You just got to get back to practice, practice hard and be together.
01:21 How confident are you that the team will be able to put this behind them
01:26 and move forward from this?
01:28 Very confident, because I know like what we can be when we play together
01:32 and we always want.
01:33 So when we get to that point, we're going to be good.
01:36 Do you think you guys maybe settled for too many outside shots
01:41 instead of attacking the paint at times on offense, or was it just something
01:43 their defense was doing that maybe you guys took a lot of threes
01:46 and didn't get into the paint successfully?
01:48 I feel like it was just us.
01:49 You know, we could we can attack against anybody.
01:51 I feel like each and every one of us is capable of it.
01:55 But I feel like we just settled for us.
01:57 I don't know.
01:58 The free throw shooting team this year and you know,
02:03 struggle to make those also in the first half, just was that just kind of
02:06 a mental thing or what do you think happened there?
02:08 Oh, I don't know.
02:10 And I missed all my free throws.
02:13 I don't know.
02:14 I guess you guys you were the team was three and oh, since since you joined
02:19 them or were able to play and pace played, picked up a lot.
02:23 A lot of good things seem to be happening.
02:24 How surprising is is this outcome today?
02:27 Not not just the loss, but the margin of it.
02:29 You know, it's not good losing by big margin like that,
02:33 but we just got to come back harder and better for the next few games that we got.
02:38 And then number 10 for them, I guess, Baker Manzera,
02:41 I think he was there in eight or nine, but he got off in the first half
02:44 14 points when they kind of took control.
02:46 What would you think of his game?
02:49 He's a good player, you know, so when good players get rolling.
02:53 Miss. And then and then broom for them, he was scoreless in the first half again.
02:59 I know you're not carding him, but he really got going in the second half.
03:02 How big was that for Auburn?
03:03 Do you think that he got untracked?
03:06 I mean, it was a big part, but I feel like it was the whole team.
03:11 Gars, bigs, it was just everybody as a whole.
03:14 >> Thanks, Keith.
