00:27 paying more for their electricity and their gas because of the Tory failure on energy
00:32 infrastructure. And working people are paying £1200 more in tax on average per household
00:41 because of 25 Tory tax rises under this Tory government. Working people are worse off under
00:50 the Tories. And no matter what the Tories say in the next 24 hours, the simple truth
00:58 is this. You're worse off under the Tories. Now, you'll have seen yesterday that Rishi
01:04 Sunak hinted that he doesn't want an election. Well let's be clear, Sunak, you can delay
01:13 the choice of the British people but you cannot delay the verdict of the British people. The
01:19 British people have had enough of your tax rises and your mortgage increases. So friends,
01:27 to tell you more about the failure of the Tories over the last 14 years and why it is
01:34 now time for change and why we need a general election, let me introduce to you my great
01:42 friend and Labour's shadow chancellor, Rachel Reeves. Despite the changes in the autumn
01:52 state votes, for every 10p that they have increased taxes on working people, they are
01:59 only giving 2p back. It is a drop in the ocean. Working people are worse off under the Tories.

02:20 got so little in return in the form of public services. This is the year of choice. The
02:28 year that the British people will give their verdict on Rishi Sunak and 14 years of Conservative
02:34 government. So it is time for change. It is time for a fresh start in Wellingborough and
02:39 it is time for a fresh start right across the UK.
