00:00 You went straight into it, we didn't have to wait a long time to have Charlie Cox return
00:04 and have this moment with Alak Willemeyer.
00:08 I wondered, how did you find filming that fight scene
00:11 and will we get to see more of Matt Murdock in future episodes?
00:15 The fight sequence with Daredevil was something that was...
00:19 It wasn't always certain.
00:20 And one of the things that we talked about was that scene in particular
00:25 and the way that we shot it was intentional, right?
00:30 So that scene sort of became known as the birth of a villain.
00:33 And I always knew, what I love about that scene on the page
00:36 is that Maya goes into that scene as a teenage girl
00:39 and she comes out as a cold-blooded killer.
00:42 And that kind of motivated this idea of shooting as a one-er
00:45 and having the whole thing come in.
00:46 And then, again, Daredevil showing up forces Maya to raise up her game,
00:52 but then that has positive questions for her and Kingpin
00:54 and it brings them all together and it puts her firmly on Kingpin's radar
00:58 to say, "Oh, this is somebody to pay attention to."
01:01 So, you know, I think putting that whole sequence together was so much fun
01:06 and it's complex and it's complicated to do a one-er like that
01:09 because you can't really shoot the whole thing in one,
01:12 so you have to digitally stitch stuff together.
01:14 And it took a lot of rehearsal, a lot of practice, a lot of choreography,
01:19 multiple departments working together,
01:22 but I'm really happy with how it came out.
