Yahoo UK spoke to Alien: Romulus stars Archie Renaux and Spike Fearn about seeing the Xenomorph on set for the first time.

00:05I mean, even looking at the behind-the-scenes stuff, it looks very creepy.
00:09What's it like coming face-to-face with one of those?
00:12It's like meeting a celebrity, isn't it?

00:17It's so surreal that they've been terrifying people for 45 years now, right?
00:24So to come face-to-face...
00:26And we didn't actually see the Xenomorphs until our characters actually needed to.
00:31Yeah, you never got to actually see them.
00:33So we were kind of getting built up to it, and at that point we're kind of in the zone,
00:37and then we see it and we're like, oh!
00:40And they are genuinely so...
00:42Huge as well.
00:44It's very, very intimidating.
00:46I remember seeing the guy in the suit for the first time,
00:49and seeing the way they move their body into it.
00:52Do that again, do that again.
00:54No, no, I'm not going to do it again.
00:57This guy.
00:59But yeah, no, it's great.
01:01I mean, also the face-huggers, you both have a great scene with them
01:04when they're kind of in the water and you're whacking them around and all that.
01:07But I heard Fede had them on a remote control thing
01:09and would kind of chase everyone around with them.
01:12I mean, were there any fun, interesting stories of playing against the face-huggers?
01:16Well, Fede was the sort of king of practical jokes,
01:19because he had all the toys within his reach, right?
01:23So we were all sitting in the tent in between scenes
01:27where they were setting up a shot,
01:30and then this face-hugger comes crawling in and fixes it all out.
01:35Yeah, Fede then comes in laughing with the controller in his hand.
01:39But they are really genuinely quite creepy.
01:42Their legs move individually, and it's incredible.
