Dead body found after man tells police he harmed a woman in south London

A body was found after a man walked into a police station and told officers he had harmed a woman in Lewisham.

At around 4.30am on Wednesday (January 3) the man told police about an incident at Parbury Road, Honor Oak, where officers then found the body of a 32-year-old woman.

00:40 taken to hospital as a precaution and from there will be taken into custody.
