NYC Mayor Adams Expands Migrant Restrictions to Include Planes and Trains

New York City Mayor Eric Adams wants to expand his executive order limiting migrant buses arriving in NYC to also include restrictions on planes and trains. Adams met with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy to discuss migrants circumventing the bus order by taking NJ Transit trains from bus drop-offs in New Jersey into NYC. Some migrants are also reportedly flying into NYC airports and taking Uber rides into the city to avoid the bus restrictions.
