00:00 The Department of Tourism said that the country has already exceeded the 2023 target of international tourist arrivals.

00:08 According to the DOT, the number of international tourist arrivals recorded last year was 5.45 million.

00:16 That's higher than the DOT's target of 4.8 million.

00:20 Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco said that this is in line with the help of the National Tourism Development Plan.

00:27 Tourism in the country is also continuing to grow after the COVID-19 pandemic.
