00:00 Hey, alright, Rockman just got some really cool arts.
00:04 Here's your look at the Pixel Frames Plax Mega Man Lenticular Arts.
00:16 And a big thank you to the folks over at Pixel Frames that did provide a couple of these
00:19 lenticular art pieces that we could actually have a look at on this channel.
00:23 If you guys are interested and certainly would like to check out more from Pixel Frames,
00:27 I'll provide the links down below in the video description.
00:29 These have now started to show up also on Amazon, so if you guys are looking for gift
00:32 ideas for maybe a video game fan in your family or friends, click the links down below in
00:36 the video description.
00:37 Now again, they were nice enough to actually provide two of these.
00:40 I've still got them sealed inside of their packaging because I did want to show you guys
00:43 what the packaging looked like first, and then we're going to open these up.
00:45 These are officially licensed, by the way, by Capcom.
00:48 The ones that they did provide were Mega Man 6, Mr. X, and then they also provided, which
00:52 is my favorite really of the two, Mega Man Robot Master Ambush, which does actually have
00:57 some of the Robot Master.
00:58 You can see they're featured on the back there of Mega Man.
01:01 If we flip around to the back, you can see the way that they are actually hung up.
01:04 You can either have them displayed on a desk, for example, as imaged here, or you can also
01:08 hang these on the wall as well.
01:10 Pixel Frames plaques are vivid bursts of 3D dimensional art from the most iconic gaming
01:15 titles while showcasing iconic artwork from gaming archives.
01:19 These officially licensed lenticular frames perfectly convey your love for retro gaming
01:23 as exceptional animated displays to add to your collection.
01:27 Our favorite blue bomber is suddenly beset by Robot Masters that are featured in the
01:31 Mega Man Legacy Collection.
01:33 Learn the order and take them down one by one.
01:35 Again, down below, you can check out the website if you wanted to be interested, you know,
01:39 looking to get some gift ideas, www.pixel-frames.com.
01:44 What I am going to do in the meantime is I'm going to actually open these both up and then
01:46 we'll get a closer look at the lenticular art Mega Man designs from Pixel Frames.
01:52 Opening up the packaging and removing carefully the shrink wrap, I now have actually both
01:56 designs now in hand.
01:57 We'll get a closer look at these.
01:58 Now these are lenticular.
02:00 So what lenticular basically means is as you're moving this around, not only the character
02:04 will look and appear to move, but also as well, sometimes the images also as well change.
02:09 The first one here is Mr. X from Mega Man 6.
02:12 You can see there's Mr. X and the robot bosses behind him is also as well.
02:16 And there's featured on the front, there's Mega Man and also his little dog, Rush, and
02:19 some of his also kind friends there as well to help assist him beat the game.
02:23 These are lenticular.
02:24 Of course, if you're looking at them from the side here, you can kind of see the way
02:27 that lenticular basically is.
02:29 It's ridged plastic and then they've got basically the images, I think offset like this.
02:33 So when you do move it around, you get the effect of these looking as if they're 3D.
02:38 Some of the images of course in the back, like the earth for example, is a little more
02:41 on the blurrier side where the more focal point is the things in the foreground, like
02:44 for example, Mega Man there and Rush and his friends.
02:47 They are all hung the same way.
02:49 So basically this is a wood frame that they come contained inside.
02:52 On the back though, they hang exactly the same way as just a regular picture frame.
02:55 So there's these little hooks on the top or hooks on the side.
02:58 The hook on the side doesn't really make as much sense because of course you're not gonna
03:01 be hanging it this way.
03:02 But the hook certainly on the top though will allow this to be hung on a wall.
03:06 Now they have also shown in images where you can actually have these sitting on your desk.
03:09 There really isn't anything that actually will allow these things to be suspended on their
03:13 own.
03:14 I mean, if you look at the actual thickness of the actual frame, there's really no way
03:17 that this will hold on its own.
03:19 I mean, you can kind of balance it, but I would really not want to have artwork just
03:22 suspended on its own like this.
03:23 I mean, it stands, but I definitely would not want to have this always like this just
03:27 in case it happens to fall forward.
03:30 So that's that one.
03:31 And the other one that really is my favorite of the two is also the robot bosses.
03:35 Now this one has mostly of the robot bosses, I'm guessing from Mega Man 1.
03:38 I see there's Bomb Man, there's Guts Man.
03:42 I shouldn't really say that.
03:43 There's also some here also as well from Mega Man 2.
03:45 There's Elect Man, Flame Man, Quick Man, Skull Man down below there, and of course, Mega
03:49 Man there in the foreground.
03:51 Like the other one, it is lenticular.
03:53 So as you move it back and forth, you can kind of also see as well, like the robot bosses
03:57 start to kind of move back and forth.
03:58 You see a little bit more here when it comes to Quick Man.
04:00 I like also the way that they designed these in the sense that looking at it, it looks
04:04 like it has a 3D kind of foreground, middle ground, background, even though it really
04:09 is just a flat surface.
04:10 It's a really interesting looking piece and should show well, especially if you're a gaming
04:14 fan.
04:15 The front again, attaches the exact same way.
04:16 So we've got the hooks on the top and on the side.
04:18 The bottom corner, of course, officially licensed Capcom Pixel Frames plaques.
04:22 Now again, these are pretty interesting art pieces.
04:25 Certainly when it comes to also displaying these in a room, I think I'm probably leaning
04:28 more to the idea of hanging these on the wall because I think it looks a little bit better
04:32 than having them just simply sitting.
04:33 Because if you are going to be sitting this, say for example, on a desk, you most definitely
04:37 would really want to have this leaning because if not for that, you definitely really don't
04:40 want to have these upright just in case again, they happen to take a fall.
04:43 One thing I really would have liked to have seen is if they could have included like a
04:46 little suspending stand, something had a little ledge in it, for example, you could have arrested
04:51 this on the stand, and then you would have been able to display it that way without having
04:54 to even hang this on the wall.
04:56 But ultimately, though, I will be hanging these on the wall.
04:58 A big, big thank you though, to the folks over at Pixel Frames that did provide these.
05:02 Again, I'll provide the link down below in the video description.
05:04 If you guys are interested, would like to maybe check out the other things.
05:06 I just happen to be looking at Mega Man because I'm a big fan of Mega Man, but they also have
05:09 a whole bunch of other games also there as well.
05:11 I mean, ranging not only just from stuff from Nintendo, but other game consoles too.
05:15 Check out their website by clicking the link down below in the video description.
05:18 These are also available over on Amazon as well.

05:36 stick around for more, we are going to be looking at some other gift ideas that you
