01:12 Hmm, I wonder who is making Elvira's Naughty List?
01:16 Before we find that out, let's grab the tape measure and see how tall the figure stands.
01:19 Now you may notice already I've got the figure displayed on top of her display stand
01:23 just because of the size of footprint space that her real estate occupies.
01:27 There really isn't a lot of space for her to stand properly.
01:30 With that being said though, Elvira is standing at about 8 1/4 inches in height,
01:35 or the figure is going to be roughly 20 inches tall.
01:38 Then for the creature who is stirring, you'll see what I mean more in a second,
01:42 the creature though stands only about half of that, about 4 inches in height,
01:46 or the figure is going to be about 10 centimeters tall.
01:48 Having already looked at two Elviras from NECA toys, I'm actually only going to just bring in the one.
01:53 Although looking at one of the head sculpts that come included with the figure,
01:56 actually the defaulted head sculpt, is actually the more one that we get with the Red, White and Boo Elvira.
02:02 But I did at least want to bring in the original Elvira.
02:04 This one is slouching though just a little bit, but if you were to have her standing straight,
02:07 the figures are going to be exactly the same size.
02:11 I don't know if I would call him an accessory.
02:13 He is a figure just as much as Elvira, possessing not as much posability, granted,
02:17 but still posability none the same.
02:19 The figure comes also include Elvira that comes included with the creature that is stirring.
02:23 And the reason why we call it the creature that is stirring is the fact that the figure literally comes included
02:27 with a mixing bowl and a spoon.
02:29 The creature that is stirring.
02:31 Stirring up, I'm sure, some concoctions, batters of some sort,
02:34 that will eventually make their way onto the cookie tray.
02:37 The cookie tray does have various different sized gingerbread men.
02:41 This one actually looks like it's seen some hard days.
02:43 I don't know if these are actually gingerbread men that have scarves or they've been hung.
02:48 Either way, that's quite disturbing.
02:50 The gingerbreads themselves are actually molded all to the cookie sheets.
02:53 The sheet itself looks like it's been molded here in silver plastic,
02:56 but the actual individual cookies of the gingerbread men of varying tortures,
03:01 all have been nicely painted.
03:03 Now you can, as it is right now, take the creature that is stirring,
03:07 and with the hand that he has right now,
03:09 you can take the cookie sheet and slide it in between the thumb and the fingers.
03:12 And then the actual, whoops, let's just get that back into his hand.
03:15 You can actually have the monster carrying around the cookies.
03:18 I don't know as willy-nilly as this, if you're going to be carrying around a tray of cookies.
03:22 Surely though, the cookies, I'm sure, will slide off the tray that way.
03:25 But it is at least one hand, at least one way of displaying the cookies,
03:29 that you could also really put it in Elvira's hands.
03:31 Although with Elvira's hands, they sort of have given you just basically the same stock hands
03:35 as the other earlier looked at Elvira's.
03:37 So with that, mileage may vary as how well she actually can hold the cookies.
03:42 You can take the tray and sort of put it in between her thumbs.
03:44 There we go.
03:45 You can have her carrying around the cookies that way if you want.
03:48 As for, I guess we'll kind of go back to the creature that is stirring.
03:52 The creature actually does have itself an apron, a real fabric apron.
03:56 If I was to lift up the apron, you see it looks to be a brand new mold.
04:00 I can't imagine they probably would have used this mold for anything else from before.
04:04 Head sculpt for it, it kind of gives us a little, I would almost say like a goblin or a gargoyle.
04:10 I'll probably stick with maybe like a troll as a description for this.
04:12 He has horns on the top of his head.
04:14 He sort of has one somber eye on one side.
04:17 I don't know if he's actually falling asleep or he's been getting into the Bloody Marys.
04:21 She does actually come in clear with one of those as well.
04:23 One thing I was surprised to see was that the creature is stirring actually does have a mouth that opens and closes.
04:28 It doesn't have any other features on his face that do move other than really just his head.
04:32 But it's a really nicely little detailed figure.
04:35 Definitely going to make its way onto the mantle along with Elvira.
04:38 Now we are kind of getting under the wire.
04:39 If I'm looking at my outdated calendar, yeah, Christmas is just right around the corner.
04:43 So I don't know if I'll be able to sneak these ones out actually onto the actual mantle
04:47 or I might just end up putting them in the office for at least right now until Santa arrives.
04:51 Now there's some, again, articulation on this.
04:53 You can rotate the tail back and forth.
04:55 He does have very limited, very limited articulation when it comes to his legs.
04:58 I mean, you can move them in and out.
05:00 He doesn't have any possessed knee articulation.
05:02 He doesn't have any really holes on the bottoms of his feet.
05:05 I guess they really could have added holes, but actually the tail does help to stabilize.
05:09 When you get him out of the package, I think the tail is twisted the other way around.
05:12 If you twist it though outward, it kind of gives him a little bit more of a stabilized tripod.
05:16 The figure also does have articulation there in the head, a nice ball joint there.
05:20 He also has ball joints or hinge joints there for the shoulders, hinge joints for the elbows.
05:24 You can rotate the arms back and forth and the figure does also have a swiveling hand.
05:28 If you did want to have him holding the bowl, of course, if he's stirring and all,
05:32 you just pop the hand that he comes off with and you get this other hand that basically is just a relaxed or flat hand.
05:38 Pop that back into the socket.
05:40 Then you can take yourself the spoon and with this hand right here,
05:43 you can see how close in quarters those fingers are to the palm.
05:47 You just take the spoon, slide it sort of in between the fingers until it kind of gets to about here.
05:53 And then you can just twist the hand around, get the bowl, put it in his hand.
05:57 And one thing actually that does help with the spoon, if you have the spoon angled in such a way,
06:01 the spoon in a way sort of holds the bowl.
06:04 See that? You can have the creature that is stirring. Love that.
06:08 So that's the creature. Now let's move on to the accessories that come included with Cassandra.
06:12 Peterson, that is. We already looked at the fact she comes included with the tray of cookies.
06:15 We'll put that off to the side. The figure also comes included with the naughty list.
06:19 Now looking at the naughty list, it is of course in Elfbelk order.
06:22 It starts with Arty. It works its way all the way down to Zaza.
06:26 I don't know if these are actually references to characters from Elvira's universe
06:30 or perhaps they're like hidden jokes with NECA toys.
06:32 Maybe some of these characters actually, some of these people actually do work for NECA.
06:36 If that's the case, I would love to meet Sparky. I'm sure he's of delight at parties.
06:39 Unfortunately though, the paper is literally just paper.
06:42 It's laminated though, which is good. I mean it sort of has like a smoothness to it.
06:46 But in a way, I kind of wish that this was plastic or laminated.
06:49 I have kind of at the beginning of this video kind of bent it just a little bit.
06:53 So it has a little bit more... it doesn't look so flat necessarily.
06:56 It looks like it would actually be a list. And you can take the list.
06:59 And again, it doesn't really fit very well in her hands,
07:02 just because again, like the figure does have stock hands for this.
07:05 But if you can't, you can kind of take this and put it in between her fingers
07:09 and rest it sort of that way.
07:11 And she can kind of look like she's looking at the list.
07:14 The other thing she also comes in clear with is the quill pen.
07:17 Actually, you know what? Let's just remove her from the display stand.
07:19 Before I get any further, I did also want to tell you guys that she does also come in clear with the display stand.
07:23 It's the same stand we have also gotten with Elvira from before.
07:26 It's printed down below here and it says Elvira.
07:29 It's a weird looking way of saying "E". I mean look at that.
07:32 It looks more like an "S", but it kind of looks like "S" or "I" or "I" or "I".
07:35 Anyways, she comes in clear with that. Let's put that to the side.
07:38 She comes with, I already mentioned, the quill pen.
07:41 The quill pen is nicely painted here.
07:43 Grey plastic with a little bit of wash of black added in there.
07:46 You can take the quill pen and wedge it in between her fingers like that.
07:49 And then of course, you can take yourself then the list.
07:52 Very carefully, just bounce it in between her fingers like that.
07:55 Yeah, the list is about the only thing that really doesn't hold well in her hands.
07:59 Again, you kind of have to get it in between her fingers and her thumb.
08:02 You can kind of bend in such a way.
08:04 I had this working so well earlier in the beginning of this video,
08:07 but then of course everything falls apart the moment you hit record.
08:10 But it would just normally sit in her hand like this.
08:13 And then of course, you can look at the naughty list, making necessary notes along the way.
08:16 Let's move that to the side. We'll also go ahead and take the pen because I'm sure I'm going to lose it.
08:20 The other thing that the figure also comes included with is a Bloody Mary.
08:23 I would have guessed Caesar, but you can see there's a celery stalk sticking out the top.
08:27 There's also a straw as well.
08:29 And you can take this and this just fits into her hand.
08:32 I believe with the other Elvira that we had looked at, she had came in close with a goblet.
08:37 The goblet, I believe, sat in the same hand.
08:39 So of course, you're basically just using the same hand again when it comes to that.
08:43 It comes with a little Bloody Mary, so that's nice to see.
08:45 The last thing that the figure comes also included with is an alternate head sculpt.
08:49 And looking though at the two, this is the defaulted head.
08:52 This of course is now the winky face.
08:54 I'm just going to put Elvira here down for a second.
08:56 I'm going to bring back in the earlier looked at Elvira just to show you that it is the exact same head sculpt with both the original one
09:02 and I think also as well the red, white, and blue.
09:04 I really should have brought her out for this because of course I'm going to have something I'm going to want to talk about in a moment.
09:09 But this is the winking face. It happens to be the same winking face that came with the original Elvira.
09:13 So again, reusing the same molds and I'm really again fine for that.
09:17 The head sculpt simply is just a case of popping off the existing head and replacing it with the winking head.
09:21 Why I keep saying though the red, white, and blue is with this alternate head sculpt,
09:26 I'm going to bring back in the original one that we got with the black dress Elvira.
09:30 You'll remember that the original Elvira sort of had the eyes looking down.
09:33 The red, white, and blue version that we've already looked at here on this channel had the eyes looking up.
09:37 So they're using the mold from that head sculpt or from that figure, not from the original Elvira because this is the original Elvira head sculpt.
09:44 So it's a little bit different.
09:45 I like this one actually a little bit more because the eyes are looking up upward.
09:48 It's a personal preference being of course that they're all using all the same ball joints after all.
09:52 It's easily just a case of popping off the existing head.
09:55 You can replace it with again the winking eye face that comes included already the figure.
09:59 Or if you really wanted to, you could also use this head sculpt because again, you're using the same ball joints.
10:04 As for the rest of the figure's body, what little she has of clothing has been nicely done here by NECA.
10:10 Of course, she's wearing herself a Santa suit.
10:12 There's really not much in the way of suit here happening.
10:15 She does have the belt. The belt actually looks like it's been molded in plastic.
10:19 It doesn't look like there's a way to detach the belt in any way.
10:22 So if you perverts out there were thinking I could undress Elvira, you can't.
10:25 The belt would be... I suppose you could probably slide this down, but we're not going to be doing that.
10:29 She does have fur trim along the bottom of her dress or her jacket.
10:32 I keep wanting to call it a dress because I mean again, like she has no pants really.
10:35 She has fur trim also around the sleeves and probably drawing the most attention.
10:39 She has also the fur trim around the top.
10:41 Now the top, again drawing, I'm sorry, the attention to where they've sculpted the figure.
10:46 Let's just fix the dress on Elvira there.
10:50 It does look to be the case. I'm so sorry.
10:53 Speaking of naughty lists and all, it does look like they are using the same proportions of body.
10:58 I don't think they've decreased or increased the proportions of Elvira's body.
11:04 They're going to be exactly the same.
11:05 The legs also appear to be the same.
11:07 The one thing that's different though done is that they've now added boots to her.
11:10 The one that was before actually would have had just high heels.
11:12 This one actually does have nicely sculpted boots.
11:14 There's a little bit of differencing, retooling added to the figure itself.
11:18 For the articulation on Elvira, the head's going to be on a ball joint.
11:21 Once again, it does look up, down, and back and forth.
11:24 Of course, with the size of her hair and how much that she has of it sticking down like this,
11:28 turning the head, of course, you're going to be rubbing against the fur on the top of her dress.
11:32 You just want to make sure.
11:33 I've already had a couple of these little hairs falling off.
11:35 You probably can't even see it, but it's all a few little random hairs, random hairs,
11:40 kind of just all around my backdrop right now.
11:42 I got a couple of just kind of falling off as I'm looking at the figure.
11:45 She has an upper torso ball joint, so that's good to see that.
11:48 The figure also has hinges in her arms, so it brings those arms at 90 degrees.
11:51 You can take those arms and move them forward. Yes, move them back. Sure.
11:54 The figure has only just a single hinge on the elbow.
11:57 Hands rotate still all the way around.
11:59 I don't know if I really had the chance to show you guys the rings that they've sculpted on those,
12:02 as well as the individual fingernails.
12:04 Those are nicely done.
12:05 I keep pricking myself, not to the point I'm drawing blood.
12:09 Every single time I move this hand, I always keep poking myself with the fingernails
12:13 that she has sculpted on the ends of her fingers.
12:15 Of course, the legs do split out.
12:17 Don't have to worry. There's nothing going to be shown here.
12:19 The legs do come forward, yes, and back.
12:21 There's a swivel at the top of the thigh, single hinge only in the knee,
12:24 and there's also the, again, articulation in the ankle.
12:27 Again, the big problem with this figure is not that she possesses peggles in the undersides of her feet.
12:31 That's actually a plus, but more so the fact that she doesn't have really a big footprint space.
12:35 So a good thing, again, that the figure came included with a display stand,
12:39 so you can display Elvira, probably not as awkwardly as I have it right now,
12:43 but you can at least display Elvira on her display stand.
12:46 Bring the arms down. Bring the arms down.
12:48 Have her displayed on the display stand along with the creature that is stirring.
12:51 And once again, bringing back the original Elvira.
12:54 I had a bit of a wardrobe mishap here.
12:56 Let's just bring that up a little bit further. There we go.
12:58 That's the original Elvira. Four times the charm.
13:00 Now, of course, we've had this one.
13:02 We also had the red, white, and blue, which, again, I should probably have brought in for this review.
13:05 Now we have the new Elvira from the Christmas release that, of course, came with the creature that is stirring.
13:10 Enough, I feel, has changed, and, of course, seasonal-wise,
13:13 you may want to be displaying Elvira probably for Halloween season.
13:15 I just really display these figures all year round anyways.
13:18 This Elvira may not be finding its way onto my shelf right away,
13:21 but probably could find its way, making its way, out onto my mantle
13:25 or maybe in my office every single year that I'm planning to decorate for Christmas.
13:29 I don't know if necessarily I'm going to have her out all year round,
13:32 although the temptation is certainly there.
13:34 Nekka has done, once again, a great job on Cassandra Peterson.
13:37 And I'm sure like everybody else, once you've got a fresh tray of hot cookies from the oven,
13:42 you celebrate with a Bloody Mary.
13:44 Okay, maybe not everybody.
13:45 The creature is stirring, still continues to stir.
13:47 I don't know what actually batters now inside,
13:49 considering that Elvira has already baked herself some gingerbread men.
13:52 And I've got the figure currently displayed, of course, with the tray in her one hand,
13:56 which she actually does hold quite well,
13:58 considering really that they're using still the same hands from before.
14:01 She does actually hold the tray pretty decently.
14:03 And of course, because the other hand was more of a gripping hand
14:05 for holding the goblet in the earlier release,
14:07 she also does have a good job of actually holding the Bloody Mary.
14:10 The figure has a little harder of a time granted to stand,
14:12 but once again, Nekka considers that by also including as well a display stand
14:16 that has Elvira's signature.
14:18 I still don't know how that's supposed to look like an E.
14:20 It looks more like an S.
14:21 Slalvira.
14:23 Anyway, so one thing I really do also like about this release
14:26 is not only the fact that they gave us two head sculpts.
14:28 They gave us, of course, a Santa-dressed Elvira,
14:30 but also as well that they gave us a fully articulated
14:32 or somewhat articulated creature is stirring.
14:35 Easily, that could have just been a stactioned statue piece.
14:38 But the fact that they also put in not only the articulation hinge joints
14:41 in the shoulders, the head, but also a hingeable mouth is also a nice touch.
14:46 Yes, it's not going to be probably an Elvira that's going to see light of day all year round,
14:49 but rest assured, when the festive season comes back around for 2024,
14:54 Elvira, her cookies, get your mind out of the gutters,
14:58 and the creature is stirring is definitely going to find its way onto the mantle.

15:03 I think the moment I put this figure out on the mantle,
15:05 I'm probably going to be told, "Put it somewhere else.
15:07 We're going to be having family over."
