00:16 Yet they finish fourth in their

00:18 Not a great year for the Mets.
00:20 They'll probably keep spending
00:22 but it shows the issue that was
00:24 highlighted by the Dodgers
00:26 spending spree which bolstered
00:28 their pitching staff in two
00:29 years and made an immediate
00:30 impact this next year.
00:32 The haves and the have nots in
00:34 all sports becoming a major
00:36 issue heading toward 2024.
00:38 But there are salary caps that
00:40 mitigate it all over other
00:42 sports certainly not baseball.
00:44 You have a lucrative cable TV
00:46 deal and have your own network.
00:48 You can finance these deals and
00:50 look at the Dodgers as an
00:51 example.
00:52 But it doesn't always guarantee
00:53 success and look at the Mets as
00:55 an example.
