Federal Judge Orders Rudy Giuliani to Pay $148 Million to Former Georgia Election Workers

A federal judge granted a request by Ruby Freeman and Shay Moss, two former Georgia election workers, to expedite Rudy Giuliani's $148 million payment to them. Freeman and Moss had expressed concern that Giuliani may try to avoid paying them, given that he has a reputation as an "unwilling and uncooperative litigant." Last week, a jury ordered Giuliani to pay $148 million total to Freeman and Moss for defaming them by falsely claiming they committed voter fraud while counting ballots in Georgia in 2020.
