Cord Jefferson's first directorial venture, "American Fiction," humorously challenges society's tendency to stereotype individuals. Starring Jeffrey Wright as Monk, a disillusioned novelist rebelling against the exploitation of 'Black' entertainment clichés, the film exposes hypocrisy as Monk creates his audacious 'Black' book under a pen name. The cast includes Jeffrey Wright, Erika Alexander, John Ortiz, Tracee Ellis Ross, and others in this upcoming movie directed by Cord Jefferson. Check it out.
