00:03 the inspection of the country's largest fireworks capital is on the way.

00:08 Two stores are busy selling Peke lights,

00:15 Because the new year is coming,

00:21 the stores of lights are being run by DTI.

00:24 Here in Buking, two of the stores in Bukawe, Bulacan

00:27 are selling Peke lights, the PS mark.

00:30 PS or Philippine Standard Mark and ICC or Import Commodity Clearance stickers

00:36 are indications that DTI has checked that the products are safe.

00:39 The case is that these are Peke.

00:42 The danger is that we are not sure if it is safe.

00:46 If it is not, it could explode right away

00:49 or our properties could be destroyed.

00:53 So we should not buy if the manufacturer is not licensed.

00:57 A notice of violation was issued by the retailer and the manufacturer.

01:00 But one of the retailers who was seen

01:03 sold them stickers so they thought it was okay.

01:07 We are in good faith.

01:09 If we see that there is a PS mark, it means it is approved by DTI.

01:14 It can be double-checked if the PS and ICC stickers are authentic.

01:18 Look at the license number written on the PS mark

01:21 and verify it on the website of the Bureau of Philippine Standard.

01:24 If it is an ICC sticker, you can scan it using the scanner for ICC app.

01:31 that they manufacture models that are not on the approved list of DTI.

02:17 like Quezon City, Caloocan, Manila, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig, and Pateros.

02:22 The PNP has also issued a list of the prohibited fireworks,

02:26 like Watusi and Piccolo.
