00:09 It's the old and the new coming together.
00:11 So it's the old buildings, it's the architecture, it's the streetscapes in the CBD,
00:16 but the fact is that Ballarat's growing, it's a regional city.
00:20 And with that we're seeing new businesses, new restaurants, new cafes, new areas to explore.
00:25 And when I first came that was just starting and I'm glad that it's continuing over the last five years.

00:34 I think just to really continue and speed up on the journey that it's sort of going on,
00:38 I'm seeing a lot of really positive infrastructure coming through now.
00:44 I think for me, working with the Y and the Business Centre as well,
00:49 it's really about opportunities and making sure that what we're developing in Ballarat
00:54 is preparing for those young people now and preparing for the future.
00:57 That provides those opportunities, whether it be education, whether it's through commerce
01:02 or just experiences in social connectedness.
01:05 As long as we've got those opportunities within the city, we'll prosper.
01:09 [Music]
01:13 And within each area of the city as well, we are sort of expanding outwards
01:17 and we don't just want locked communities,
01:19 we want every little pocket of Ballarat to have a really good mix and blend.
