In 1945, close to the furthest limit of The Second Great War, kamikaze pilot Kōichi Shikishima lands on a Japanese base on Odo Island. Lead repairman Tachibana derives that Shikishima had escaped from his obligation by pretending specialized issues. That evening, Godzilla, a dinosaur-like animal, assaults.
