Russell Wilson was asked if he still thinks Sean Payton still believes in him a public display of emotion.
Transcript
00:00 >> When Sean is that emotional with you inside of a regular one season,
00:04 do you still feel he has the faith in you?
00:07 Do you still think he trusts you like he should?
00:09 >> Yeah, I mean, of course, I think the biggest thing is,
00:12 we're trying to score touchdown there.
00:13 I think we all want to score there.
00:14 I mean, that's our focus.
00:16 And that's, you want a coach that's passionate,
00:20 we want players that are too, and everything else.
00:23 And so we want to score touchdown.
00:25 I think my biggest thing is always trying to focus on the next play.
00:29 And unfortunately, those few plays, we didn't get the touchdowns there.
00:33 So that was the only unfortunate part about that part.
00:36 We came out in the second half, we did a really good job going down the field,
00:39 marching down the field.
00:40 We did a really good job of scoring a touchdown there, made it 21-7.
00:43 Unfortunately, they ended up scoring, but we responded again,
00:47 came all the way down the field.
00:48 I'm not sure how many plays it was, probably 12, some 15 plays or
00:51 whatever on the second drive of the second half.
00:54 Responded, trying to make it a 14 point game.
00:58 Honestly, I thought Javante may have been in on that first one and
01:00 then Jaleel even too.
01:03 And then Burton, he got in there, but fortunately called a penalty.
01:07 And I think that would have given us a chance to keep the game close, 28-14.
01:14 Anytime it's striking distance like that, we believe we can win.
01:18 Because of the guys we have and the character guys and
01:20 the effort that everybody puts in.
01:22 Unfortunately, it didn't go our way.
