Owners of a new chip shop have claimed the community has gone crazy over their masala chips.
Arjys on Wombridge Road in Trench, Telford, a fish and chip shop and Indian takeaway, opened three weeks ago without much noise.
The owners, Raj Chatha and head chef Lally Pal, were waiting for the new year to have a grand opening - 'ArjyFest', as Raj put it.
But according to the pair, one menu item has sent their customers crazy: masala chips, so we went to try them out.

00:00 I'm here at Argy's in Trench in Telford. It's a new fish and chip shop/Indian restaurant that opened about three weeks ago.
00:06 I've heard rumours that they do a really good masala chip and there's no one more qualified than I to test it out,
00:12 self-proclaimed queen of the carbohydrate. So hopefully we can charm them. Let's go.
00:17 Hi. Hi. I've heard you do some great masala chips. Yes we do. Can I have one please? Yeah sure.
00:27 Um, Maggie, can I have a masala chips please? Here you go. Thank you. You're welcome.
00:32 Well, what do you think? Yeah.
00:55 I get chip out of my teeth.
00:56 You've got layers. Okay, they're crispy, they're mildly spicy. I was expecting oily,
01:07 so I'm really pleased that they're not greasy, they're really crispy.
01:10 Um, like slight curry, slight pepper. They're really good. I like them.
01:16 I'd like 12 more. Yep.
01:20 - Yep.
01:21 (laughing)
