00:00 Well, that storm doesn't stop across the southeast.
00:02 It's going to continue its journey north
00:04 and it's going to be spreading some
00:06 widespread rain as we head into the
00:08 later half into the weekend into
00:10 the beginning of next week.
00:12 Now if we take a look closely,
00:14 you'll see this dark green bullseye.
00:16 That's what we're expecting.
00:17 The heaviest rain that's going to
00:19 extend from eastern Pennsylvania
00:20 up through the Hudson Valley,
00:21 even down through the New York City
00:24 metro area right there along that I-95
00:26 corridor, Baltimore, Washington DC,
00:27 parts of the Delmarva,
00:28 and then even up across southern New England.
00:31 But thunderstorms still in store
00:32 there across the Northeast,
00:34 even back through the Ohio Valley
00:36 as that storm advances Sunday night,
00:38 spreading widespread drenching rain.
00:39 And while it's going to be
00:41 moving up along the coast,
00:42 we are talking about some coastal
00:44 hazards to keep in mind here Sunday
00:46 into Monday and those coastal hazards
00:48 are going to extend from Wilmington,
00:51 all Wilmington,
00:51 NC all the way up the coast through
00:54 coastal Maine and into Atlantic Canada.
00:56 Now those winds are going to be howling.
00:59 At times we're gusting between
01:01 40 and 60 mph that can cause concern
01:03 for localized power outages.
01:05 So heads up we are talking about
01:07 some blustery conditions there.
01:08 Coastal inundation and beach erosion
01:10 are all going to be concerned,
01:12 so really not the best beach
01:14 weekend into it next week as well.
01:16 I know not necessarily time of year
01:18 that you want to go dip your toes
01:20 in the sand or in the water,
01:22 but hey,
01:23 maybe you want to take a walk on the beach.
01:26 You can enjoy some of that
01:27 overnight blustery there as we
01:29 head into Sunday and Monday.
01:30 And as that storm continues,
01:31 his journey north,
01:32 well,
01:32 it's going to be dumping a lot of rain,
01:34 and this may look similar to even
01:36 last weekend where we were talking
01:38 about 2 to 4 inches.
01:39 Well,
01:39 that's going to be the same story there
01:41 along parts of the mid Atlantic up
01:43 through New England with Iraqi with
01:45 the local storm X as high as 10 inches.
01:47 Now that's going to be occurring
01:48 across the southeast,
01:49 but hey,
01:50 still pretty impressive rain there.
01:51 2 to 4 inches there as we head
01:53 along the northeastern seaboard.
01:54 Now I want to show you how this
01:56 is going to play out here again.
01:57 I'm going to take this into Sunday morning.
01:59 Most of your day on Sunday.
02:01 You're going to be clear,
02:02 but then we're tracking this wave
02:03 of energy pushing out of the West.
02:05 It's going to kind of start to
02:06 work together with this storm
02:07 that's going to be moving on North.
02:09 Those two are going to phase together
02:11 and bring widespread rain that's
02:12 going to spread there throughout
02:13 Sunday night into Monday.
02:14 So heads up not the best community
02:16 conditions there from Portland,
02:17 Boston, New York,
02:18 even back towards Buffalo.
02:19 It's going to be a wet go of it before
02:21 we do start to change over to snow.
02:23 As we head into late Monday into Tuesday.
