Located in Solaire Resort in Paranaque City, Kkanbu Chicken and Beer is fast becoming a favorite hangout for 'chimaek' lovers.
If you're not familiar with the word, 'chimaek' refers to the pairing of fried chicken and beer. This "food culture" started in Korea many, many years ago, but it was only until the Korea-Japan World Cup in 2002 that the practice of eating chicken with beer became widely accepted and known worldwide (thanks also to many K-dramas!)
The name of the restaurant came from the Korean slang 'kkanbu' which means 'close pal,' 'friend,' or 'companion.' The word best represents what the restaurant is aiming to be: a place where people can kick back, chit-chat, and enjoy tasty fried chicken in different flavors.
