Transcript
00:00 Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're counting down our picks for the Top 10 Biggest Flexes
00:16 in Yu-Gi-Oh!
00:17 10.
00:18 Atom Summons All Three God Cards – Yu-Gi-Oh!
00:27 Duel Monsters
00:29 We knew Atom would put Yu-Gi through the duel of his life in this epic finale, but none
00:34 could have foreseen a flex of this scale.
00:37 Early on in the ceremonial duel, Atom wastes no time in summoning Obelisk to the field
00:43 against his partner.
00:51 If you thought this was bad, it gets much, much worse, as he follows up by summoning
00:56 both Slyther the Sky Dragon and the Winged Dragon of Ra in his very next turn in a mighty
01:02 display.
01:09 While Yu-Gi managing to get rid of them with the Magnet Warriors is a flex in itself, Atom
01:14 summoning all three in quick succession truly proved he was the king of games.
01:24 9.
01:25 Yuri Stomps the Yusho Duel School Students – Yu-Gi-Oh!
01:30 Arc 5
01:31 Upon entering Yusho Duel School, Yuri finds himself challenged to a duel by five of its
01:37 students.
01:42 Instead of taking them on one after another, Yuri decides to challenge them all at once,
01:47 with each student utilizing a deck that is very reminiscent of the GX era.
01:53 Unfortunately for the Yusho School students, Yuri easily defeats them one after another
01:59 thanks to his starving Venom Fusion Dragon.
02:11 We guess they just couldn't get their game on.
02:22 8.
02:25 Kaiba Predicts the Future – Yu-Gi-Oh!
02:27 Duel Monsters
02:29 Intervening in the Grand Championship, Kaiba challenges Siegfried to a duel, and in the
02:34 final stage, the CEO of Shrodacorp activates magical arms.
02:43 With this spell card, each player must declare how many spells they will use that turn, taking
02:48 1000 damage if their prediction is incorrect.
02:52 With just one card in his hand, Kaiba boldly declares that he will use exactly four spell
02:58 cards during his turn, much to the bewilderment of Siegfried.
03:10 Through a series of combos, Kaiba manages to do just that, and if we're being honest,
03:15 Kaiba's laugh at the end is just as big of a flex.
03:22 7.
03:24 Yusei Uses Tenzen's Deck – Yu-Gi-Oh!
03:28 5D's
03:29 After getting himself incarcerated and put into the facility, Yusei witnesses a duel
03:34 between Tana and Tenzen, with the latter easily defeated and forced to give up his precious
03:39 deck.
03:44 With Tenzen begging for mercy, Yusei intervenes and challenges Tana to a duel using the very
03:50 same worthless deck Tenzen had just been defeated with.
03:55 Despite never using the deck before, Yusei proves that it's not just the deck that
03:59 makes the duelist.
04:06 He wins the duel without attacking even once, proving that there's no such thing as a
04:11 useless duel monster card – well, at least within the anime universe.
04:18 6.
04:20 Kaiba Shows a Bully Who's Boss – Yu-Gi-Oh!
04:23 Duel Monsters
04:25 The Battle City Tournament is filled with all sorts of bad guys that need a lesson or
04:29 two, but in this particular case, Kaiba decided to take things into his own hands.
04:40 After disrespecting his brother Mokuba, Kaiba challenges Koji to a duel and even gives him
04:46 a wide selection of powerful cards to boost the power of his deck.
04:56 But even with all the new rare cards in his deck, it's all for naught as Kaiba wipes
05:01 him out instantly with Obelisk, the Tormentor.
05:04 Kaiba didn't have to go that hard against such a lowly duelist, but we wouldn't have
05:09 had it any other way.
05:16 5.
05:19 Zero Turn Kill – Yu-Gi-Oh!
05:21 GX Whether it's in the anime or in real life
05:25 with the TCG, a one-turn kill is incredibly satisfying for any duelist.
05:31 But Sartorius went beyond that and took this one step further.
05:39 In his duel against Prince Ojin, it appears the duel is lost for the Society of Light's
05:45 leader thanks to Prince's satellite cannon and Mischief of the Time Goddess.
05:53 However, when the smoke clears, Sartorius survives thanks to his Arcana Force XIV.
06:02 Within the very same turn, Sartorius then plays Ace of Sword, forcing Prince's own
06:08 satellite cannon to inflict damage on him, resulting in an incredibly rare Zero Turn
06:13 Kill.
06:14 4.
06:22 Pegasus Let's a Child Finish Off Bandit Keith – Yu-Gi-Oh!
06:26 Duel Monsters Imagine making it all the way to the tournament
06:30 finals, only to lose to a snot-nosed brat who has no idea what he's doing.
06:36 Well, this is exactly what Maximilian Pegasus did to poor old Bandit Keith.
06:51 In the Intercontinental Championship finals, Pegasus declares to Keith that even a child
06:56 could defeat him, and calls one from the audience to take his place, with notes on what to do.
07:06 With just a few simple instructions, the child easily defeats Bandit Keith, ruining his career
07:16 and leading him to take a very dark path.
07:20 3.
07:22 Infinite Damage Loop – Yu-Gi-Oh!
07:25 Arc V How do you deal with a duel that never ends?
07:29 By countering it with your never-ending loop.
07:31 In his duel against Roger, Declan soundly defeats him, only for Roger to suddenly return
07:37 and claim the duel will never end.
07:44 In order to counter this, Declan devises a combo with Chaos King Apocalypse, Servant
07:49 Nicola and Swinging Abyss to create a controlled loop, meaning Roger would be instantly defeated
07:56 every time he returns to the duel.
08:07 This genius play results in Roger abandoning the duel entirely and leaving Declan the winner.
08:13 It's no wonder he's the youngest certified duelist ever in the professional circuit.
08:28 2.
08:30 Yami Yugi Overkills Weevil – Yu-Gi-Oh!
08:34 Duel Monsters With little Yugi sacrificing his soul to the
08:38 seal of Arikalkos, Yami Yugi must duel Weevil alone, and to say he's in a bad mood is
08:44 putting it lightly.
08:45 When Weevil pulls out a card which he claims contains the soul of Yugi and tears it, Yami
08:51 Yugi goes into a blind rage.
09:00 He plays the magic card, Berserker's Soul, and proceeds to constantly attack Weevil every
09:06 time he pulls a monster card.
09:13 Even when Weevil's life points reach zero, Yami proceeds to attack him directly five
09:19 more times until Teya stops him.
09:22 While this may seem like overkill, Weevil almost certainly deserved it.
09:31 Before we unveil our number one pick, here's a few honourable mentions.
09:34 Kaiba Sacrifices God – Yu-Gi-Oh!
09:37 Duel Monsters Kaiba Sacrifices Obelisk to Summon Blue-Eyes
09:41 White Dragon
09:53 One Turn, Three Kill – Yu-Gi-Oh!
09:56 5Ds – Yusei Takes Out Three Guys All Within One Turn
10:09 Joey Withstands Ra – Yu-Gi-Oh!
10:11 Duel Monsters – Joey Tanks Ra's Direct Attack, Causing Fear in Yami Maric
10:17 1.
10:45 Chaz Destroys North Academy – Yu-Gi-Oh!
10:48 GX After leaving Duel Academy and losing his
10:52 deck in the process, Chaz winds up at the rival North Academy, aiming to become its
10:57 top student.
10:58 With a brand new deck made up of random cards he finds in the area, Chaz boldly takes on
11:03 the Academy's challenge of dueling all 50 of its students.
11:14 One by one, each student falls to his superior dueling skill, and at one point, he even takes
11:19 on four students at once.
11:24 Chaz's dueling marathon all comes to an end when he defeats the final top student,
11:30 Zar, earning his right to be the representative in the inter-school match against Duel Academy.
11:36 When they said "Chaz it up," this is totally what they were talking about.
11:45 Which flex in Yu-Gi-Oh do you think is the biggest?
