A mother has turned to the songs of superstar Beyonce to stop her two-month-old baby from crying.

Mum Naya Perry, 24, discovered her son Lucio Perry loved the singer after one of her TikTok followers suggested she tried one of her songs to sooth him.

The experience was a success - as soon as Naya played a Beyonce song to Lucio, the two-month-old stopped crying.

Naya, a stay-at-home mum from Jacksonville, Florida, said: "My son decided to eat up the mute challenge with Beyonce.

"He absolutely loves her whenever he hears her and will just automatically stop crying.

"I'd say that he is definitely a part of the 'Beehive'"

The videos became such a hit to Naya's now 37.6K followers, that many viewers started to leave comments suggesting new tunes for Lucio to listen to.

She said: “They request different genre’s of music for him to react to whether it’s classical music, Afro beats, Beyonce, Dua Lipa or Nicki Minaj, who he also loves.

“I've noticed he loves music that is fast. I think he likes the movement."

Naya started uploading videos to TikTok more regularly after she became a mum and Lucio's music reactions just seemed like the perfect content.

Naya said: “So, I had a TikTok before I became a mum but I didn’t really post that much.

"I then became a single mum, and of course, had to deal with my son on my own.

“I love music, so I’d always have it on at home.

"The first time I did it was to a Spanish song and he just loved it, so that’s when I decided to start playing different music to see how it worked.”

When asked if this ever gets boring, Naya said: “It’s so much fun because it’s interesting for me too to see how he’s going to react.

“Is it going to make him stop crying? Is he going to keep on crying or get worse?

“It’s great but it’s also overwhelming sometimes because I don’t want to miss anybody’s requests!”
