02:10 to resolve their legal differences,
02:12 making the rapper a free agent.
02:14 With this new deal, the Grammy winner will benefit
02:16 from WMG's global infrastructure, marketing muscle,
02:20 and longstanding relationships at radio and television,
02:23 all while retaining the rights to her art.

04:54 in New York City at the Beacon Theater,
04:56 and my mother's disabled, and she lives in a nursing home,
04:59 and this was the first time
05:02 that she was out of the nursing home in almost three years,
05:06 and she was able to come and see my show,
05:09 so this was a very special moment
05:10 because she was like, "I love you, and I'm tired."

05:18 So that's my mom.

05:23 by sharing her favorite traditions.

05:34 are spending quality time with my family.
05:37 So we get together and celebrate memories,
05:40 and dance, and play spades,
05:42 and just do a lot for Christmas together as a family.

05:47 Christmas Day is our time.
05:49 My mom only cooks twice a year, which is so whack,
05:53 but it just makes us appreciate her food so much more,
05:56 so we love her dressing, we love her sweet potato pie.
06:01 Because my mom starts cooking on Christmas Day,
06:03 we are all in the kitchen just soaking it all up.
06:07 I'm gonna tell you my favorite Christmas album,
06:11 and I probably shouldn't be saying this
06:13 because I have a Christmas album out,
06:15 but besides "Christmas with Brandi,"
06:19 (laughing)
06:21 my favorite Christmas album that I play over,
06:24 and over, and over like nobody gets any more play
06:28 is "Mariah Carey."
06:30 The top three are "O Holy Night," "Joy to the World,"
06:35 and "All I Want for Christmas is You."
