00:08 A swingers club in Edinburgh has made a last ditch attempt to stay open after being ordered

00:13 to shut down by the council. Cornucopia in Sight Hill is fighting an enforcement notice

00:20 served for operating without planning permission. The venue, which claims to be the largest

00:25 of its kind in the region, was told to cease use of the unit at Bankhead Industrial Estate

00:31 as a private adult club by the 11th of January. However, an appeal has now been lodged with

00:36 the Scottish Government who will decide the club's fate.

00:40 Five men, aged between 69 and 90, have been arrested and charged in connection with historical

00:46 child abuse at Edinburgh Academy. The abuse is alleged to have taken place at the school

00:50 between 1968 and 1992. Officers said that a six-man, aged 74, will also be reported
