00:00 It is a holiday tradition that is getting bigger and bigger each year.
00:05 And it's where Salt & Lime Modern Mexican Grill turns the whole place into Feliz Navidad.
00:11 And Tina and Sandra, I can't believe I looked at my notes and you said, "There's more to this."
00:18 How do you get more of the lights and everything in this place?
00:25 I don't know, but any empty ceiling, any empty wall space, we fill it up.
00:30 So every year we're just trying to fill up more and more as we go.
00:33 Oh my gosh, this is so awesome and looking at this, and it's a joy of yours.
00:37 I know that you guys love doing this. You actually shut the place down, the staff comes in, and you guys turn this place less than 24 hours, right?
00:47 I wish it was less than 24 hours. It actually takes us a month to get it all done.
00:52 We start 5 o'clock in the morning, month of November, November 1st, and we go every morning until we get to this.
01:00 Yeah, it's awesome. Hey, before we go any further, can we go outside and just show the entrance?
01:06 Oh my gosh, every time, the Grinch shows up to do, what is he doing now?
01:11 Look at him, where is he? Where are you going, Grinch? Oh, see, there it is.
01:16 Let's walk outside and show this entrance because this is where it all starts, which is so amazing.
01:23 Wow, look at this. Sandra, this is so incredible, walking through this and seeing all this,
01:30 and you guys actually expanded it to be more outside on the patio, more room for people.
01:36 Right, I've actually taken over the suite next door, and we finally were able to break the wall open to have additional seating,
01:44 and eventually I'll have a bigger patio as well. So yes, we are growing to add more decor.
01:49 So we just opened this actually Thursday night, which is the first time we've sat anybody in here.
01:53 Wow, this is awesome. Okay, let's talk about what's on the menu. Let's tuck out some food.
02:02 All right, so we have obviously our full menu available all through the holiday season,
02:07 and during Christmas we actually have our specialty drinks and menus.
02:12 So we have our Grinch margarita, our winterberry, and our white chocolate martini.
02:18 We have about 12 drinks on the menu this year. We've added a couple more.
02:21 These are everyone's fan favorites, especially the Grinch.
02:24 The Grinch is there. This is great.
02:28 And so, and then of course, go ahead.
02:33 I'm sorry. So food-wise, we have our Christmas poppers, which we have those stretched on the menu all the time.
02:38 These are my favorite. Jalapeno poppers, chicken tikka inside them, our reindeer quesadilla,
02:44 and our aji tostadas, and our Christmas enchiladas, to name a few of the items we have for Christmas this year.
02:50 Oh, so delicious. It's great for everybody there. So what other special things you got going on there for this holiday?
02:59 Well, we do have every Monday, we do have Ugly Sweater Monday.
03:03 So every guest that comes in with an ugly sweater will receive 50 percent off discount of their meal.
03:08 We're also doing our charity of the month. This December is the Mag Toy Foundation.
03:13 So any guest that brings in an unwrapped toy, we will also receive a 50 percent discount on their meal that evening as well.
03:20 And and then just, you know, every day the staff here and the Grinch every now and then does a special appearances.
03:26 That's what we have going on this month. So I like it. The staff is there all ready to go.
03:30 Look at this. Got their sweaters on. They're exciting. Look at the smiling faces.
03:39 They love being here early with me in the morning. Do they do you need a reservation to come and enjoy Christmas time there?
03:47 We do. We do. We have reservations for parties of eight and no more than 15 due to this limited space.
03:53 All reservations can be done. You can call and host a happy to take a reservation or you can go on our Web site, salt and lime AZ dot com.
