00:00 trying to get the offense going week after week.
00:02 Was it a boiling point that led to this?
00:04 >> I think it was just frustration.
00:06 It's time to get a hit, I was trying to get a hit.
00:08 And it was just, I lost my cool, I did.
00:11 And like I said, Bear Carr, I'm sorry.
00:14 We're good, I love him, he loves me.
00:16 We're on the same page.
00:18 >> He didn't say anything to you or anything like that?
00:21 >> I lost my cool.
00:21 [BLANK_AUDIO]
00:29 Yeah, it was nice to get a win.
00:31 I mean, we dropped three in a row, I think.
00:34 So it's nice to come back and win in front of our crowd, in front of our fans.
00:39 Get a win, and it wasn't perfect.
00:41 It definitely didn't go the way that we wanted it to.
00:44 But as of right now, a win is a win, and we'll talk about it later.
00:47 >> Kind of slow start in the first half.
00:49 I was looking for you guys there at the end.
00:52 >> Yeah, I think that our defense did a great job of getting this
00:57 ball back in their territory, and I think that gave us an opportunity to go down
01:02 the score in the red zone, which is a trend that we need to keep going in.
01:07 >> Eric, not to belabor this point, but I think when people see that,
01:10 when people see the center arguing with the quarterback, they're gonna say, well,
01:14 this is just a sign of distrust in the locker room, and things are going in
01:17 the locker room, and so you would say that that's not the case,
01:20 that this was just something that occurred on the field?
01:22 >> Yes, no, no, I don't think there's any distrust in the locker room.
01:24 Like I said, I love Eric Carter, Eric Carter was me.
01:27 We hashed things out, and we're gonna be good going forward.
01:31 And like I said, I take full responsibility for my actions.
01:33 It's very unbecoming of me to lose my football defense.
01:38 And yeah, we're good.
01:39 We had a kumbaya over there in the locker room, in the training room.
01:44 But no, that was it.
01:46 >> Gotcha.
01:46 By the time he came over and sat right next to you and
01:49 sees you on the bench, was it kind of just like, just have it out there?
01:52 >> Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:54 It was just emotions passed.
01:56 He came over, he apologized, I apologized.
02:00 Yeah, pretty much it.
02:02 >> Eric, I don't know if you know, but you guys are tied for first somehow in
02:05 the NFC, so the fact that it's still in range is what I'm gonna say about this
02:08 team and what you guys can do from here on out, that you're still in range.
02:11 >> Yeah, I would say that we have to go in four games in a row.
02:16 I mean, I can't speak too much to how things will play out.
02:20 I know that we have to lock in, we have to go out and execute, weekend in,
02:22 weekend out, and prepare for the Giants next week,
02:24 who have a great nose tackle, Dexter Lawrence.
02:27 >> The stats don't necessarily reflect a win in this game,
02:30 I'm sure it was talked about in post-game.
02:31 Did this one feel like it like,
02:32 continued to reach into the American fans?
02:35 >> I mean, it was just gritty.
02:37 It was grimy, it was ugly.
02:38 And I feel like that's part of our frustration.
02:41 But yeah, like I said, a win is a win.
02:46 And I'm thankful for each and every one,
02:47 because they're hard to get in this NFL, no matter who their opponent is.
02:50 >> What is the message from DA after a win like this?
02:53 >> The same thing, it was gritty, it was grimy, it was ugly.
02:56 But a win is a win, and I'm thankful for each one.
02:58 >> So when frustrations boil over like that,
03:00 is it hard to remember that you're ahead technically at the time?
03:03 [INAUDIBLE]
03:06 >> I mean, no, I knew the score.
03:09 I was just frustrated.
03:11 No, I mean, I understood.
03:15 It happens.
03:16 It's in the motional game.
03:17 I have no chance against them.
03:19 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:27 Yeah, I mean, everybody's going early, but in the second half,
03:29 it kind of crumbled down.
03:31 So that was another frustration.
03:33 But I think it was how we were running the ball, especially when Paul Williams
03:36 run the ball super hard.
03:38 And if those guys continue doing that, and continue to open up some ways like that,
03:42 I think it was a tough win.
