00:00 When this decision was about to be made, there was a lot of talk about it for a couple of days.
00:03 It was being said that the Kashmiri people have some expectations.
00:06 But believe you me, I'm not surprised.
00:10 I'm not surprised. I thought that this was going to happen.
00:14 Yes, this was going to happen and I didn't have any expectations either.
00:21 If you see the bench, the constitution,
00:24 the BJP affiliated judges, their bias was absolutely clear.
00:30 They are a compliant judiciary and they'll always do the line of RSS driven BJP narrative.
00:39 And they wanted to validate this.
00:41 So they have tried to validate it.
00:43 But we are not interested in this at all.
00:46 Because we don't believe in that basic premise
00:50 on which they are considering their internal issues.
00:54 And they are determining the status of something under their Indian constitution.
01:01 We don't believe in that at all.
01:02 Our basic stance is rooted in the United Nations Security Council resolution.
01:08 According to which, the Kashmir cause is an international dispute.
01:13 When it is an international dispute, then under its constitution,
01:17 Article 370 doesn't mean anything to us.
01:20 So Pakistan's stance has become a kind of a resolution.
01:25 The ones who had promised, the leadership of India,
01:30 Farooq Abdullah, then Mahbub-e-Mufti, PDP,
01:34 the ones who had some expectations,
01:36 they have broken their expectations as well.
01:39 Our stance is rooted in principle,
01:44 and that is Kashmir is a disputed territory.
01:47 And the resolutions on this by the International Security Council are still alive.
01:52 And furthermore, it is a disputed territory,
01:55 but it is very important for our survival and it is our citizen as well.
01:59 Absolutely.
02:01 So that is why, their plebiscite is our option,
02:06 self-determination is our stance.
02:09 And we have raised this voice in every forum.
02:12 And the Syrian violation of international law,
02:17 I think we should go on that to the international forums.
02:21 What are the international forums where Pakistan can appeal against this resolution,
02:27 can take up this case?
02:29 Exactly. And they have also violated their own constitution.
02:34 Article 3 of their Indian constitution says that
02:38 the state cannot alter its boundaries without the validation of its constituent assembly.
02:47 So the constituent assembly of Kashmir has been dissolved by this decision,
02:52 the one from 370.
02:54 So how can it be that you can now take it down from the state to the Union Territory,
03:02 and then integrate it,
03:05 and then change its rights and demographics.
03:09 Mr. Brigadier, the question here was,
03:12 because the United Nations of Kashmir was a state,
03:17 can it be taken down?
03:20 And if it can be done,
03:22 then is it the parliament's right or the state's right?
03:26 So that was the question that was asked.
03:29 Exactly. And this was the petition of Mahbuba Mufti.
03:34 But our stance is above that of Mahbuba Mufti.
03:37 We say that this is not a state, it is a disputed territory,
03:40 and it has to be resumed, self-determination has to be given to Kashmiris,
03:43 plebiscite, UN Resolution 49, UN Resolution 51,
03:46 there is a whole series of resolutions on this.
03:49 And after this, let's assume that under 370,
03:53 which gave them partial autonomy,
03:56 it was a shock to the Kashmiris' sensibilities.
04:01 Now they have also negated that.
04:04 And they have made it a state of union parity.
04:09 This is the first time in their history.
04:12 And after that, they have added 6 seats to Jammu.
04:17 The population of Kashmir, which is much more than that of Muslims,
04:20 has only added 1 seat.
04:22 This shows their game plan,
04:24 that they want to bring a BJP chief minister,
04:28 and they want to validate the falsehoods they are spreading.
04:32 So I think the whole nation should condemn this with one voice.
04:37 All political parties across the board,
04:40 there is no time to waste on politics.
04:42 And I think one thing, Mr. Brigadier,
04:44 you can shed more light on this,
04:47 it is necessary for any court to meet the demands of justice.
04:54 But here I feel,
04:56 the demands of justice are being met for India.
04:59 They have already done all the mali-a-mate.
05:02 Look, the people who are being killed and raped,
05:08 their courts are also dressed in garlands,
05:11 and they are welcomed as heroes.
05:15 They are kangaroo courts.
05:17 These courts, if you look at the composition,
05:21 how many BJP affiliated judges are there,
05:26 how many Brahmin high castes are there,
05:28 what kind of judgement they will give,
05:30 what kind of narrative they will peddle,
05:32 this writing was on the wall.
05:34 Apparently that is the point,
05:36 it was writing on the wall and we are not surprised.
05:38 We have seen the face of India,
05:42 that from the Supreme Court to the Indian government,
05:44 everyone is united.
