00:14 The Dancing with the Stars judge shared the news in a personal Instagram post,

00:18 revealing that Hailey was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel

00:23 and underwent an urgent craniotomy.

00:26 Thankfully, Derek assured fans that the So You Think You Can Dance alum is in stable condition,

00:31 and he went on to share gratitude for the doctors, nurses and EMTs for stepping in to help, writing in part,

00:37 "I want to thank the first responders and medical personnel who have cared for and continue to care for her.

00:42 I ask for your prayers and positivity during this time."
