Over 37,000 traffic summonses settled at Madani Government programme

A total of 12,300 traffic offenders had managed to settle their summonses in conjunction with the Madani Government One Year Anniversary programme at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

00:14 Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Director Commissioner Datuk Muhammad Azman Ahmad Sapri said 12,300 traffic offenders managed to settle their summonses during the event at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
00:29 He said the payments were made on Friday and Saturday at 14 counters and via discount vouchers on the police's portal and application.
00:39 He said the counters, which were supposed to open from 9am to 6pm, had their operation hours extended to 9pm to cater to the overwhelming response.
00:49 The public commended the police for making it easy for them to settle their traffic tickets.
00:54 Despite the discount offers, the police said they hope that the public will not wait to pay their fines.
