00:10 >> And we are back with another episode of How About Them Celtics/Talking C's.
00:14 We are here with Bobby Kravitzky of SI Media Group.
00:18 Inside the Celtics is the Celtics page.
00:20 Bobby, how you doing?
00:21 >> Doing fantastic.
00:22 My apologies because we're supposed to be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
00:27 The reason that we had to delay that this week, a little bit under the weather,
00:31 the voice wasn't cooperating, but we're back up and running now.
00:34 >> It's always great to say we're back.
00:36 >> We're back.
00:38 >> We're back at the throat coating tea, so we're good to go here.
00:41 >> All right.
00:42 >> We are, we are.
00:43 Sam and I are in different locations.
00:44 He's actually in the bathroom right over there.
00:46 And I'm in the hotel room.
00:49 We're in Vegas.
00:50 We bought tickets months ago to go to the in-season tournament,
00:53 hoping the Celtics would make it, and then they decided to come up one game short.
00:57 But we're here anyways, cuz we had the tickets and we're just gonna have a good
00:59 time. We were at the pace- >> I get treated to a nice show by Tyrese
01:02 Halliburton.
01:03 >> Yes.
01:03 >> It's cooking. >> It was very vindicating to see him do
01:05 it to somebody else too, cuz I would have been really, really mad.
01:08 Cuz he wasn't great in the first half of this game,
01:11 neither was he against the Celtics.
01:13 And I was like, damn, is he really, really gonna light up the Celtics and
01:17 then not show up against Milwaukee?
01:18 But no, he drilled the dagger against them.
01:21 He set up a lot of his teammates really well.
01:22 He had a pretty solid game in Vegas, for sure.
01:25 He's lobbying for that super cool Crystal basketball,
01:30 all the all-time the team is gonna get.
01:32 I think he's a lock, love the term.
01:34 >> I think he'll be honest.
01:36 Yeah, no, but Vegas, we're here, regardless of the Celtics.
01:40 We saw Shaq, he came in behind us- >> Yes.
01:42 >> We're doing super fun stuff.
01:44 >> Shaq was literally five feet from me.
01:47 I have a picture with, multiple pictures with Shaq.
01:49 One was a selfie, another was Devin, our friend who's with us,
01:53 took a picture of me taking a picture of myself with Shaq.
01:56 And that's a way better picture, because Shaq, so
02:00 we were at a basketball shooting game.
02:02 They have all these hoops, and they're different sizes.
02:05 And as the round goes, you shoot at the higher hoops,
02:08 they're like 20 feet, 30 feet, whatever.
02:09 And Shaq pulls up, and he wants a shot.
02:14 So we got Shaq's follow through in the background of me.
02:18 And it's a great picture, I will tweet it out.
02:21 >> That's an awesome picture.
02:21 >> It was really cool, he was super close to us.
02:23 He was a man of people.
02:24 He's exactly how you would imagine.
02:26 >> My question was gonna be, did you say what's up to him?
02:28 But the fact that you got the selfie there- >> No,
02:30 I did not say what's up to him.
02:31 >> Answers that.
02:32 >> You got the selfie. >> I don't have that sort of confidence.
02:33 >> [LAUGH] >> Mr. Simone,
02:36 now you feel like going to say what's up to Diesel?
02:38 >> Nah, now we were in line, so it was kind of awkward.
02:40 There was a lot of people between us, and I didn't wanna yell over everybody.
02:43 It was funny though, cuz TNT and ESPN are both there.
02:47 And so Chuck was yelling at Stephen A.
02:49 Smith, the ESPN booth, and they were yelling back at the TNT booth.
02:53 It was a very cool environment outside of the T-Mobile arena.
02:57 >> Yeah, it was like a little carnival as you described it.
03:00 Best Chuck moment of the day was some fan was yelling at Chuck,
03:03 that Chuck couldn't guard him.
03:05 And Chuck says, I wanna know what team you're on that's so
03:09 bad that you have to get in the game.
03:11 >> [LAUGH] >> Yeah, no, I mean, it's great.
03:14 It was a great environment.
03:15 I'm trying to pull up the picture.
03:19 So I can show you the follow through of Shaq.
03:21 I shared it with myself on Slack, so I could pull it up.
03:26 So Bobby, this is the picture we got of the big man with Sam as Feeder,
03:33 him hanging out.
03:34 >> That is perfect.
03:36 >> Yeah. >> It was great.
03:37 >> My God.
03:38 >> Okay, you take a selfie.
03:40 Diesel holding the phone.
03:41 That is perfect.
03:42 I'm guessing he missed the free throw.
03:44 >> Yeah, air ball.
03:45 >> Slammed off the backboard as hard as you.
03:48 >> He was a good distance away.
03:50 It wasn't a free throw.
03:51 He was pretty far.
03:52 >> Yeah, those clips of them shouting back and
03:54 forth from one desk to the other.
03:56 There's already been a bunch of those that have gone viral,
03:58 as you would expect.
03:59 >> Really? >> Yeah, yeah.
04:00 >> We haven't been on Twitter.
04:02 >> Yeah, they're all over the place.
04:04 >> It was funny, but we wish the Celtics were here.
04:06 And the reason they're not here is the perfect transition,
04:08 because they got beaten by the Pacers last days mean nothing to me anymore.
04:14 I couldn't tell you what day it was.
04:15 >> Monday at this point.
04:16 >> Monday. >> You've been in the desert for
04:17 a little bit.
04:17 >> That's fair.
04:18 >> Yeah, I've been lost, but lost to the Pacers, lost to Alliburton.
04:23 We talked about this on How About Them Celtics a little bit.
04:26 My initial thoughts, and then I'll let you guys run.
04:28 I think it came down to turnovers.
04:30 I think it came down to bad three-point shooting, and
04:32 then a bad third quarter.
04:33 And I really think, and obviously those are big factors, but
04:36 I truly think that that's just what it was.
04:38 I think that's what happened.
04:38 Bobby, what's your take from the Celtics Pacers?
04:40 >> Well, it's just funny how every loss so far feels like it reflects
04:45 the biggest concerns about this Celtics team.
04:48 And so everyone has to ask themselves, are we overreacting?
04:52 And at the same time, these are trends that we continue to see.
04:55 The third quarter chatter has gotten so loud that it's reached the point where
05:00 it's gonna be something that the players feel,
05:02 especially when they're at TD Garden.
05:04 Every single time they come out of halftime, more and more Joe Mazzuola and
05:08 the roster, these guys are getting asked about it.
05:11 They're gonna start to really feel that, again, especially at home.
05:15 And I think it starts with, cuz I'm just a firm believer in defense,
05:20 setting the table and think that should be at the forefront of this team's identity.
05:24 It certainly was when they made their run to the finals in 2022.
05:28 And that allows you to play up tempo.
05:31 And sometimes it feels like their best players don't always wanna do that.
05:35 But there's such a difference in their results based on their pace of play and
05:40 how that looks and what it translates to.
05:42 So if they can continue to get stops, and Joe Mazzuola said after the Pacers lost,
05:46 he felt like they were doing a terrible job with their angles and
05:50 keeping guys in front.
05:51 And so as a result, you're taking the ball out,
05:53 you're going against the set defense,
05:55 you're less likely to push it up the floor consistently.
05:58 And we saw what happened, and that of course lends itself to turnovers and
06:02 low quality threes.
06:03 So it was that third quarter is a microcosm of one of the major concerns
06:07 about this team.
06:10 >> Yeah, I think the defense stuff is really the big red flag for me.
06:14 I was in the masses of people that were none too pleased with Monday's outing
06:18 in Indiana.
06:19 And the thing that killed me the most was the fact that they could not buy a stop
06:23 in the fourth quarter when they really had it going on the offensive end.
06:27 You were seeing some big made shots from Jason Tatum.
06:31 Backing guys down, getting to the elbow, and then he's drilling these shots like
06:37 he's the most confident guy on the court.
06:39 And then the Celtics come down and you have that feeling watching the game,
06:43 you just know they aren't gonna get a stop.
06:45 I felt like I was watching the teams of old that they blew up in effort to
06:51 take the next step and I was like, wow, why does this feel the same?
06:54 This shouldn't feel the same anymore.
06:56 They made all these changes.
06:57 Why are they still having issues getting stops?
06:59 Now the Pacers do deserve credit.
07:01 Jack and I bounce this one back and forth because Halliburton was unconscious down
07:05 the stretch.
07:06 He was setting his guys up and when he wasn't,
07:09 he was making the big shots himself.
07:11 But I'm with Bobby, I love a defensive driven team.
07:15 I think it's the most controllable of all the variables you have to offer.
07:19 It doesn't mean I think you should neglect offense, but
07:21 when I watch a game, it's a big game, a moment in the season.
07:27 Historical game, first quarter final ever.
07:31 And there's a vibe about it that's playoff like in the arena and
07:34 then you can't get stops.
07:36 Red flag makes me sweat, makes me upset.
07:39 >> Yeah, it was tough.
07:41 I mean, I said this to Sam when we talked about it on our pod and
07:44 he was very mad.
07:45 But I was basically like, I think there were games this season that
07:49 the Celtics won in which they played worse than this game.
07:52 So it sucks, but I do think there is a level of, dude, the Pacers didn't miss.
07:57 So obviously, I think you have to address all the problems that we all stated,
08:02 like the third quarters and the defense and all that stuff.
08:04 But I also don't think it was a complete disaster game,
08:07 like the Hornets, for example, was a complete disaster game.
08:09 So there's that, but who would have helped against the Pacers?
08:12 Not an excuse, but would have helped Christophs Rosengus,
08:15 who pat myself on the back for that, definitely not forced segue.
08:18 Could be back, [LAUGH] as you're listening to this tonight against the Knicks.
08:24 He hinted at it at practice, and then they listed him as probable.
08:27 It sounds like he's making his way back.
08:29 When he went down with that calf strain against the Magic,
08:31 it was kind of scary because it was an uncontact injury.
08:34 Everyone's like, what's gonna happen?
08:35 Then he posted to Instagram saying, probably fine, short term thing, good news.
08:40 So excited to get him back in the lineup because I don't think it can be
08:44 overstated just how much he changes the way they play.
08:47 >> Yeah, you're exactly right, Jack.
08:50 And he posted on Instagram the other day that everything's lined up for
08:53 him to return on Friday.
08:55 He went through a scrimmage and was really getting after it
08:58 at the hour back center yesterday.
09:00 And then he told everyone that he hasn't spoken to the medical staff.
09:03 Maybe that's true, maybe it isn't.
09:04 But everything seems lined up for him to be active.
09:07 And then the latest injury report has him as probable.
09:10 So at this point, it would signal that there was some sort of regression
09:14 if he doesn't end up playing against the Knicks.
09:17 And it's obviously welcome to get him back in the lineup because like you said,
09:21 we all see it.
09:22 He is a rising tide that lifts all boats.
09:24 He's a two-way impact.
09:25 He's been excellent as a rim protector.
09:28 He's shown that he has mobility for his size to do a little bit more than that.
09:32 And they can spin the dial with how they use him defensively.
09:36 And offensively, no one's benefited from his arrival more than Jalen Brown,
09:40 who is growing as a facilitator.
09:43 And it really stems from that pick and roll partnership.
09:46 So what he does for this team and their crunch time offense,
09:49 which obviously was not particularly effective against the Pacers,
09:53 is a blessing and they couldn't get him back soon enough.
09:55 >> Yeah, the looks for the other guys on the Celtics are just gonna get that much
10:00 easier because of the extra attention he's gonna require and Tatum's gonna require.
10:05 And he's also gonna make Jalen Brown's life a lot easier because, I mean,
10:09 Jalen had ESPN making fun of his assists not being existent in the last couple games.
10:15 >> That was so- >> It is dumb and
10:18 it wasn't fair cuz he played decent against the Pacers.
10:22 He was actually hitting guys, they just weren't making shots.
10:24 But having Porzingis there will give him his guy back, as you kinda touched on.
10:30 They get it, they live in the same building.
10:33 Brown pitched Porzingis as one of the funniest guys on the team.
10:37 Porzingis pitched it right back.
10:39 What was that a part of, Jack?
10:41 Cuz I know we talked about, they listed the, it was Kristop's Q&A on Instagram,
10:46 where he said I'm coming back.
10:47 He also talked about the funniest teammates.
10:49 So him and Jalen have a true connection.
10:51 When Jalen's back, it's gonna make Porzingis more effective and
10:54 it's gonna do the same for Jalen.
10:55 Because Jalen's at his best when he's moving the ball and
10:59 playing within the flow of the offense.
11:01 And when the offense is the Jalen Porzingis pick and roll,
11:03 he really can't go wrong.
11:04 I love the low post game that Porzingis brings.
11:08 He's just bigger than everyone, so it makes defenses have to really panic.
11:13 And on defense, you would have seen a much different type of team down
11:19 the stretch because the Pacers, it felt like they were able to get whatever they
11:22 wanted at times in that game because there was nobody protecting the rim.
11:26 When Porzingis is in, these teams cannot buy a basket in the paint.
11:29 It's much, much more difficult for them to score inside.
11:32 >> Yeah, I think it's fitting that he's coming back against the Knicks.
11:39 He played them in opening night, had a great game.
11:40 I think he can help space the floor, get Hart and Stein and
11:43 Mitch Robinson out of the paint.
11:45 Like I said, everything just kind of changes when Porzingis is in the lineup.
11:49 And I'm excited to see him back and I'm sure he's excited to take on his former
11:52 team.
11:53 >> I missed him.
11:55 >> Yeah, you think Celtics have missed him too.
11:57 But next thing we got is Jason Tatum talking about Boston.
12:01 We briefly touched on this on the pod yesterday.
12:04 Basically, it was an interview point forward with Evan Turner and
12:10 Andre Goodalla and said, I didn't realize how special Boston was until I got here.
12:15 And then he talked about integrating himself into the city,
12:17 the fans accepting him.
12:19 He's talked a lot about rooting against Boston because he was a Kobe fan and
12:23 not liking Boston before he got here, but then understanding it's a special city.
12:26 And at least me, I'm curious to know your guys' thoughts.
12:30 I think this year you've seen a lot more of Tatum, and I guess kind of last year
12:34 too, but this year you've seen a lot of Tatum taking on that leadership role more
12:38 that smarts out, like the meeting before the season with the starters, right?
12:42 A lot of this, I think it was in an interview with Jeff Goodman at
12:45 the Messenger before the season.
12:46 He's like, I don't lead like KG, but that doesn't mean it's not there, right?
12:49 So I really like that part.
12:50 And I think the fact that he has been so receptive to embracing that role of
12:56 being a star in Boston,
12:58 he's probably the biggest star athlete in Boston right now currently.
13:02 And so that's a giant weight on his shoulders.
13:05 And to see him embrace the city like that's really fun.
13:09 >> Yeah, I think he's definitely the face of Boston sports right now and
13:13 has firmly taken a mantra that a model that was up for
13:17 grabs after Tom Brady left and he has the mantle now.
13:20 And then as far as embracing Boston and all of that,
13:24 look, this is a city with a tough outer shell.
13:27 And when you come in with the, well, I got drafted here,
13:31 I guess I have to make the best of it.
13:34 It's gonna take some time and the city needs to see, can you perform on the court?
13:38 Can you win?
13:40 Are you someone worth us investing in?
13:43 And he's clearly shown that coinciding with his maturation and
13:47 really getting comfortable in who he is.
13:49 I think he's certainly grown as a leader and then that also allows him to
13:53 express sentiments like the one you referenced, Jack, to Jeff Goodman.
13:57 Where he's saying, look, I'm not Kevin Garnett, I'm Jason Tatum, but
14:01 you better believe that I'm leading in my own organic natural way.
14:05 And it's clear with other initiatives that he's done,
14:09 like calling for that meeting before the season with the top six.
14:12 And getting everyone to really air everything out right there before they got
14:16 going, each one of them individually have spoken about how valuable that was.
14:21 Tatum organized it.
14:22 So he certainly has grown as a leader, as a person, and
14:27 obviously as a basketball player.
14:29 And so it really is great to see that relationship between him and
14:32 Boston be what it is now.
14:35 It's at a level where I think it deserves to be, he's more than earned it.
14:41 Regardless of whether or not a championship even comes in the future,
14:45 he deserves to be someone the city fully embraces and wraps their arms around.
14:49 And I think they've done that.
14:50 >> It's funny that you mentioned the championship,
14:53 because that's what I was going to start on.
14:55 I think once he gets there, it's felt long overdue,
15:00 because I believe they could have won twice already, or three times.
15:04 But the amount of love he gets without that even happening,
15:09 when it happens or if it happens, it's going to be crazy.
15:13 He's going to be one of the city's favorite players ever.
15:17 He's going to have the type of love somebody like Paul Pierce gets,
15:20 no matter what, it's unconditional.
15:22 The people here love him.
15:23 They will continue to love him every time he's on the Jumbo Tron at the Garden.
15:26 They go nuts.
15:27 It's always exciting to see him around the team.
15:30 And you mentioned Tom Brady too.
15:33 Tatum has the team around him, and it's possible for him to go on a sustained run.
15:39 It's set up that way.
15:40 It should happen, and they should have already won.
15:43 But it's also very possible that he could end up with nothing and still be well loved.
15:48 He could be like the lovable loser the Celtics have had,
15:51 which has never really happened with this franchise.
15:54 But he's also done a ton of winning,
15:56 so this is the only place he would really ever be considered a loser.
16:00 With the resume he has at, what, 25?
16:03 He's been to a finals, three, four Easter Conference finals,
16:07 whatever it's been, and just hasn't gotten over the hump yet.
16:09 But when they eventually get there, it feels like they're just going to be
16:13 an absolute hoss and a force to be reckoned with every single season.
16:17 And he's certainly on pace to get his number retired,
16:20 especially considering he'll probably end up being the leading scorer
16:23 by the time he's done, if he stays forever.
16:26 Yeah, and that's a crazy thing to think about.
16:29 I mean, it's weird because the city...
16:32 I was thinking about it, right?
16:33 Paul Pierce comes back to all these games when you mentioned they love him like Paul Pierce loves him.
16:37 It almost feels like Tatum is a bigger star than Paul Pierce was.
16:42 And so that makes me wonder if he would be around the team as much as Paul Pierce.
16:46 Paul Pierce's life was the Celtics, and now it is the Celtics.
16:49 It feels like Tatum is...
16:51 This isn't like trying to knock Tatum. I love Tatum.
16:52 I think everything he's done for the city is amazing,
16:54 and I think him embracing the city is awesome.
16:55 But do you think he would come back to as many games as Paul Pierce,
16:59 or do you think he is too big of a star to do that consistently?
17:02 Does that make sense?
17:03 Yeah, totally. I think that right now,
17:06 the easy answer would be to guess it's not as frequent as Pierce, who's around a lot.
17:11 But let's see what he does post-career and what his next chapter looks like
17:16 and where it is, how much travel's involved, and all of that.
17:20 Because Pierce, remember, he was with ESPN for a little bit.
17:23 That makes it easier to come back.
17:24 Does Tatum go into media?
17:26 But right now, I think it's something...
17:28 They referenced this in that same appearance where he said some...
17:33 They told him something like he's got the most sponsorships of any NBA player,
17:37 most endorsement deals, something like that.
17:39 So given how active he is on fronts like that,
17:43 while he still has the playing career,
17:45 we got to see what it looks like afterwards.
17:48 I also think Tatum's going to retire and then just disappear.
17:53 Not so much to where he's not doing sponsorships,
17:56 but the man hates to talk, it seems.
17:59 He's very quiet.
18:01 He's not someone I can see sitting on the TNT or ESPN panel
18:04 before these big games and talking a whole lot.
18:07 There have been a lot of players, though,
18:08 who it seems like that at one point in their career,
18:10 especially earlier, and then sure enough, they end up in the booth.
18:14 I mean, I'm sure he'd be funny.
18:15 He definitely has charismatic moments with you guys at the press conferences,
18:19 saying he wasn't mad, "Please don't print that I'm mad."
18:23 And also, he was like, "Man, I wanted to go to Vegas."
18:26 Like, I mean, I would have loved to have him here.
18:28 It would have been sick, but, you know,
18:32 they get to play the Knicks on Friday.
18:34 How exciting.
18:35 Thank you for the transition.
18:36 The Celtics do, in fact, play the Knicks tonight
18:39 as we're talking about this.
18:41 And I don't want to say it's a big game,
18:44 but it feels like any time this team loses,
18:45 you don't want to go on a losing streak, right?
18:47 They're one-on-one in their double back-to-back Minnesota versus Philly,
18:52 losing twice.
18:54 This Knicks team is a team that usually plays them hard,
18:56 quickly has had some big games against them.
18:58 They get active on the glass.
19:01 But yeah, back losses, right?
19:04 This is a big game in that sense.
19:06 Bobby, what are you looking for in this game?
19:08 Well, the Celtics have not done well.
19:10 And again, this is one of those issues that it's not just new this year
19:14 against physicality.
19:16 And the Knicks are one of the prime examples
19:18 of giving them a hard time because of that.
19:21 So we'll see against this Tom Thibodeau coach defense
19:25 if they're able to handle that.
19:26 Joe Mizzoula talks all the time when things don't go well for the Celtics
19:30 about they need to do a better job fighting for their spacing
19:33 and being physical off the ball and in holding their position
19:37 when they set screens.
19:38 And the Knicks are going to test that as they always
19:41 do, no matter the opponent.
19:43 So we'll see with the Celtics.
19:44 And with poor Zingas, we were praising him earlier, deservedly so.
19:48 But he also has earned a lot of flack for not being someone
19:52 who loves to get physical and get nasty and to even just hold his screens.
19:56 He's much happier to quickly set it and then move on,
20:00 whether he's rolling or popping for a three.
20:02 So this is going to be a test for the Celtics in their consistency
20:06 and focus in that department.
20:08 Yeah, big test any time you play player of the week, Julius Randle,
20:13 somebody that is one of the most efficient and under control
20:18 basketball players across the association.
20:20 But to your point, Bobby, I hate when this team
20:23 lose multiple games in a row.
20:25 I think it does have a bit of a big game feel Friday night at the Garden.
20:29 You have the Knicks in town.
20:30 They just got bounced out of the tournament, too,
20:31 by the lesser Bucs, who weren't able to make the championship, by the way.
20:35 But the Celtics did have the hard road.
20:37 And both teams are going to be hungry for a win.
20:41 You're going to get some good basketball.
20:42 And as much as I con on Randle, he's actually
20:44 playing more up to his standard, where he's getting selected all NBA
20:48 teams for whatever reason.
20:51 They didn't have that version of Julius Randle in these first two games.
20:54 Now, it doesn't mean the Celtics should lose.
20:55 I think they should win every single game they play.
20:58 And they are in a position to beat this Knicks team handily.
21:02 Having Porzingis back is going to help them.
21:04 He's going to add more layers to their offense,
21:06 especially late in the game.
21:07 If it gets stale, it makes it easier for them to slow the game down.
21:11 But yeah, they need to win a physical game.
21:13 They need to win a dogfight.
21:15 Give me some confidence back after you melted it against the Pacers
21:18 on the defensive end.
21:19 Get some big stops against the Knicks.
21:22 I agree.
21:23 What I'm looking for most is the Knicks are--
21:25 I don't have the numbers in front of me,
21:27 but Mitchell Robinson's one of the best offensive rebounders in the league,
21:29 if not the best.
21:30 Isaiah Hardenstein gets active on that end.
21:32 It feels like the Celtics have really keyed in and locked
21:35 into their offensive rebounding, sending guys from the corner, Sam
21:37 Hauser, Drew Holiday.
21:39 I wonder if they can win that battle.
21:42 I was talking to Andrew Claudio of Knicks film school.
21:44 I did a pregame Knicks film school pregame show that comes out
21:47 same time as this tomorrow--
21:49 excuse me, the morning of the game, which one of you guys are listening to this.
21:52 And he said Knicks have actually been getting beat on the offensive glass
21:55 as of late.
21:55 Feels like Robinson hasn't been quite as effective.
21:58 So I wonder if that's a place the Celtics can hone in, stop the Knicks
22:00 in transition, and then focus on the transition game of their own
22:03 on the other end.
22:04 So I think if you can beat the Knicks where they thrive the most,
22:08 you're at a really good advantage in that game.
22:10 But--
22:11 Yeah, to that point, that was a key--
22:14 when the Celtics beat the Knicks in the most recent matchup
22:17 is after the first quarter.
22:18 They did a great job limiting their second chance opportunities.
22:22 And when you do that to a New York team that typically doesn't shoot the ball
22:25 well, it's very difficult for them to win.
22:29 This is a big earn my respect game for the Celtics,
22:32 because if they get beat up on the offensive glass,
22:36 it's not going to be a whole lot of fun when we come on the postgame pod.
22:40 Tell you that.
22:41 Not going to be a good time.
22:42 Not going to be a good time.
22:44 I think we got it all, though.
22:45 Was there anything else that we forgot about?
22:46 I think we hit all the points.
22:47 Unless-- did I miss something?
22:49 I think we covered it all.
22:50 By the way, Jack Simone, I guess we can end with this extra point.
22:54 Nice hat tip from JJ Redick to you by saying
22:58 that he has long been lobbying Derek White to be in the top 50.
23:04 And so I know you've been there since day one.
23:07 And I know the Ringer just put him at 49.
23:10 I'll even add this, that if you go to the Ringer's list,
23:13 there's a lot of players ahead of Derek White,
23:16 even though they put him at 49, that you'd
23:18 rather have him than James Harden, for example, on your basketball team.
23:22 OK, now I'm looking quick.
23:23 Just before we wrap up, I just need to know if he got disrespected more.
23:26 Need vindication.
23:28 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
23:28 There are players you're going to disagree with.
23:30 At least, they're the only ones as of now that have him in the top 50.
23:34 OK, Derek White is 49.
23:36 DeJounte Murray, Draymond Green, Rudy Gobert,
23:38 James Harden would take him above Alperin Shmgun, I guess.
23:43 OK, I can't fight too many of these, but there are certainly--
23:47 would you--
23:48 Laurie Markkinen's fine.
23:49 He was an all-star, but like, yeah, I'm going to say he would be taken.
23:52 Would.
23:53 I agree.
23:53 Based on Markkinen this season and his whole career,
23:57 I'd rather have D. White.
23:59 I agree.
24:00 I agree.
24:01 Zion is a large man.
24:03 D. White, the shapeshifter.
24:04 He can give you anything, anything you need.
24:07 That's been the most--
24:09 I'd take Derek White over Jaren Jackson Jr. this season.
24:12 Yep, that was another one.
24:13 Harden, I'd take him over Draymond this season.
24:16 Maybe not DeJounte Murray, but maybe--
24:18 OK, OK, anyways, thank you for informing me.
24:21 I had to go respect the boy.
24:23 But yeah.
24:25 Anything else you want to say before we jump on out of here, Bobby?
