00:00 The traffic ticket payment counters set up by the Road Transport Department and the police at the
00:05 Maadani Government One Year Anniversary Programme in Kuala Lumpur have received an encouraging
00:10 response from the public. Although they opened only at 9am on Friday, many visitors started
00:16 queuing at the counters as early as 7am to grab the offer of up to 50% discount for their traffic tickets.
00:23 "It's a good initiative from the government to give ease to all our people.
00:31 I'm here at JPG to complete my ticket. They even give a discount. It's a very good government initiative."
00:40 "I saw before entering the main gate, there was a long line for the ticket payment.
00:48 This is a good opportunity for those who want to get a 50% discount to come to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium
00:56 and pay their ticket. We expect that in the next three days, the number of visitors will reach
01:05 200,000. But we are very cautious."
01:13 The three-day programme, which started on Friday at the grounds of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium,
01:18 aims to disseminate information on policies and initiatives introduced
