00:00 >> Yeah, he's incredibly talented.
00:01 You watch him on film and he's always seems to be in the right place at the right
00:04 time.
00:04 And he's just a smart ball player and knows exactly what to do, how to cover guys.
00:08 And he's able to cover different types of guys.
00:10 So it's really impressive to watch.
00:12 >> How far back are you guys going in terms of your preparation?
00:15 Do you watch that game from earlier in the season?
00:18 Or do you more focus on what's been happening recently?
00:21 >> Yeah, I think that's a good question.
00:22 Generally, our process as quarterbacks have been to watch the past six or
00:27 seven games.
00:28 I think that's outside of the scope.
00:29 But you can always go back and watch.
00:31 And we end up watching all the games from the year.
00:33 But you pay more attention to the recent ones, just how they're playing,
00:37 who they're playing, and the type of things that they're putting in.
00:39 So it's definitely something that you can go back and watch.
00:42 But generally, you tend to the more recent ones.
00:44 I think that's something that Coach brought up in the team meeting room this
00:47 morning is focusing on that.
00:48 They're causing turnovers and they're doing a good job protecting the ball.
00:51 And that's something that we've got to go into this game,
00:53 having a good mindset about.
00:54 And as to your question, they've done a good job of forcing those turnovers.
00:57 They're going out and getting them picks, fumbles, getting after the ball.
01:02 And that's the good part about a defense is if they're playing around flying like
01:05 that, they're gonna be a good defense.
01:07 And causing and forcing turnovers like that,
01:09 it just reminds you you gotta be smart with the ball, play smart winning football.
01:13 I think it's just part of the game.
01:16 If I miss a guy or if I miss a wide open guy, I'd like for
01:20 him to not to do the same thing where he puts his hands up or
01:23 he's pointing at me or things like that.
01:25 And I think it's kind of just treat people the way you wanna be treated.
01:28 And I can always do a better job of that.
01:31 And it's a tough situation.
01:32 There was a lot of rain.
01:33 It's tough on the footballs like that.
01:35 But I know those guys are doing their best.
01:36 And kinda like I said earlier, it's trust and confidence that we're gonna go back to
01:40 the next play and they're gonna make a play.
