00:03 >> Sadiq, just for you, what is it the adjustment of kind of coming off the bench
00:07 and then now being in the starting unit,
00:09 just where have you had to make some adjustments there?
00:12 >> Just being ready all times, I've been playing with a different unit.
00:17 It's a different flow, both starting and then coming off the bench,
00:22 it's just different units, so just having to figure out my niche,
00:27 my role in both units and for me it's just come with the same attitude,
00:32 the same mentality, play hard both ends of the floor, be ready at all times and
00:37 just not think about it too much.
00:38 >> Coach praise you guys for playing great decent defense tonight.
00:43 Do you feel like you're kind of turning the corner,
00:45 things are starting to settle in with you guys?
00:48 >> Yeah, for sure, I think we've been, past games,
00:53 about third quarter they have 100 points and I think we've been doing a better job
00:56 of that, I remember the score was 74, 75 at one point in the third, so
01:02 we try to be the best we can, and at the end of quarters and stuff like that.
01:09 It's just been good for us to be able to focus on the house,
01:12 we have to get better, because we didn't win the game.
01:14 So, but for us it's starting to have, starting to gain with the defensive
01:20 mentalities to try to have that last throughout the entire game,
01:24 we have to be better.
01:25 >> Sorry, Sadie, where do you guys specifically have to be better?
01:32 >> Just sticking to the game plan, our coaches and
01:34 staff, they give us a great game plan every day.
01:38 They grind and watch a lot of scouts, stuff like that, we have to execute.
01:44 This team, saw a lot of threes, they shoot a lot of threes each game,
01:50 and they made 40% of them, so we have to be better on that end, and
01:53 we have to get stops for us to play in transition, which we do well at.
01:57 So, game by game, every team has a different type of playing style,
02:02 we just have to execute the game plan better.
02:05 >> Just kind of following up on that, once you get in the flow of the game,
02:08 what's the difficulty with sticking with the game plan?
02:12 >> Just teams are good, for reasons, they make adjustments.
02:15 A lot of times, we just have to make adjustments on the fly as well,
02:20 just be better at that, locking in.
02:22 And there's little spurts, in the quarters, when they're on the run,
02:27 stuff like that, not letting it get too, let their running stand,
02:31 when we're on the run, not to give up the lead, stuff like that.
02:35 So for us, it's just throughout the game, I can't tell you one point, but
02:39 each team has a different identity.
02:42 So we just have to be better at that.
02:47 >> Anyone else?
02:48 Jamie?
02:50 >> So, I just wanted to ask you, from a defensive standpoint,
02:52 how have you been able to kind of work on that part of your game?
02:55 I know it's kind of hard to practice defense, but what have you been able to do?
03:00 >> Essentially, we stick to the scale, to the game plan, it makes it easier.
03:06 And playing for each other, just continue to work on,
03:10 we do work on defensive practice actually a lot.
03:12 So just the scheme and just being ready, mind, body, soul.
03:18 So for us, for me specifically, I just try to focus in on whatever
03:24 coaches get asked, and try to help my teammates, and
03:27 try to be the best I can be on that end, so.
03:28 >> All right, thank you.
