00:00 I think that the matter that Councillor Keith and Councillor Ross are referring to has been
00:06 dealt with through the formal process through my group leaders. I have apologised to Councillor
00:11 Keith, who made the complaint on behalf of colleagues and constituents. I have stepped
00:15 down from my role as equalities champion, which I valued greatly, and I have recently undertaken
00:20 further equality and diversity training. I fully support that we, as elected members,
00:26 all have a responsibility to take care of our words and actions on social media and the press,
00:31 and we will endeavour to do so in the future. I appreciate very much the many messages of
00:36 support and encouragement from colleagues and constituents regarding this matter and regarding
00:42 the role that I carried out as equalities champion. I would like to say also that I
00:47 unreservedly support Councillor Mustard being elected to the role of equalities champion,
00:54 because I think she would do an absolutely brilliant job. Thank you.
