The third generation of the Panamera is presented in a unique form. Alongside this completely redeveloped model, Porsche is unveiling a specially created one-off car in Shanghai. The Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch shows the attention to detail with which Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur implements the Sonderwunsch programme. This highly exclusive, unique car visualises how a totally personal dream sports car could look for a Sonderwunsch customer.

Individuality is a particular form of modern luxury. Which is why the new Panamera is available ex works with a broad selection of colours, upholstery, decors and accentuating details. For those with even more individual and highly exclusive expectations for their personal dream car, Porsche offers its customers the Sonderwunsch programme. This includes consultation, planning and expert execution of custom colour and material wishes and even the building of customised one-offs. Porsche will be presenting the all-but-unlimited options of the Sonderwunsch programme during the world premiere of the new Panamera in Shanghai.

The clear coat of the Sonderwunsch Panamera Turbo contains flakes vaporised with real gold, creating a premium look with depth effect. The exterior also features pinstripes in the also newly developed colour Avium Metallic with an integrated Sonderwunsch logo. The face of the 21-inch centre-locking rims and the frames of the side windows are also finished in Avium Metallic. 00:00 Sportiness and driving comfort.
00:03 Two opposites that Porsche combines perfectly in the new Panamera with Porsche ActiveRide.
00:09 The Active chassis enables smooth rolling, good isolation and a quiet body and, at the same time,
00:18 a precise driving experience and complete leveling with optimum wheel load distribution.
00:25 The feeling of comfort is particularly noticeable on bumps, which are optimally filtered by isolation and body control.
00:33 An evolutionary step forward in terms of stability and driving performance.
00:38 A significant difference to the already very good predecessor model.
00:43 By combining a single chamber air spring with a dual valve damper including a motor pump unit,
00:50 any force can be applied to each damper individually and independently of the direction of movement.
00:56 The data measured by sensors on vertical acceleration, suspension travel, longitudinal and lateral accelerations
01:04 and turning rates form the foundation of the Porsche ActiveRide control system.
01:09 Whether during braking, acceleration or in launch control start, Porsche ActiveRide compensates for movements in milliseconds.
01:19 Virtually no pitching or rolling movements are noticeable.
01:23 Even beyond the limits, the dynamic wheel load distribution ensures the desired driving behavior,
01:30 adapted to the respective driving mode.
01:33 An optimum interplay of stability and agility thanks to permanently adapted grip of the wheels.
01:40 The Sport+ mode is given the dynamic ground clearance function.
01:45 The vehicle level is dynamically adjusted and the vehicle's center of gravity is lowered.
01:50 The result? Less wheel load fluctuation, more camber on the wheels and consequently more grip.
01:57 The motor pump unit draws its energy from a 400 volt battery, which is available in the hybrid vehicles.
02:05 This ensures that there is always enough power available for the chassis.
02:10 Beyond the functions included in the Porsche ActiveRide by default, further PorscheRide functions can be activated.
02:18 For example, active pitch control, which counteracts the forces on passengers.
02:24 Pitching against the direction of motion is initiated during acceleration and braking.
02:30 Another function is active tilt control, which causes the vehicle to lean towards the center of the bend,
02:38 thus reducing lateral forces on passengers.
02:41 The result? Optimum handling in every situation.
