5E full color book based on Filipino Mythology Creatures set in the WakeSong world of Bukana: Gateway to the Sea of Skulls.

Welcome to the land of Bukana. These islands are inspired by the rich cultures of pre-colonial Philippines & Indonesia. Meaning “gateway,” Bukana is a prosperous, magical archipelago. It is the commercial hub of our blossoming world where a visitor can see travelers inspired by cultures throughout Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and even Meso- and South America.

Welcome to WakeSong, a magical land of daring adventures, terrifying beasts and, of course, heroes. The beauty of humanity can be found here in all of its wonderful diverseness, this is not Earth. It is, however, a world pulled from the collective sphere of our mythologies, folklore, and imaginations. A place where heroes that look like everyone struggle against ancient monsters, nightmarish horrors, and those who seek to bend the world to their will. You may not be used to a fantasy adventure setting that looks like WakeSong, but you will be.

If we’re successful, we have big plans for developing the setting. The next book will be the Bukana Setting Guide. This tome will give players and GMs everything else they need to embark upon adventures in the Sea of Skulls. Planned content includes:

* 24 Subclasses, like the Headtaker, Ghost Archer, & The Monster warlock.
* 15+ Playable species and ancestries, including the mouse deer-like Pilandok and elves of the Dalaketnon and Tamahaling.
* 5 Backgrounds, with the courtier and warrior-caste nobles.
* Scores of other PC options like feats, spells, and magic items.
* Maps and detailed locations such as the rough-and-tumble Dakbay Port and the crusading Amethyst Sultanates.
* Discussions about various aspects of the myriad cultures - headtaking, foreign-influences, and the notorious “blood trade.”
