A police funeral is being held in Adelaide today to commemorate brevet sergeant Jason Doig, who was killed on duty in a shoot-out in South Australia's south-east.

00:19 Some were exchanging hugs and others were visibly emotional.
00:23 A little earlier this morning, Brevet Sergeant Doig's casket was carried in by six police
00:29 officers in front of an honour guard.
00:31 Fifty-three-year-old Brevet Sergeant Doig was sent to a property at Senior near the
00:37 Victorian border last month with two other police officers when he was allegedly shot
00:42 and killed by a 26-year-old man there.
00:45 His colleague Sergeant Michael Hutchinson was also wounded in the incident.
00:49 Today, buildings will be lit in blue and flanks will be flown at half-mast as a sign of mourning.
00:55 Soon there will also be a guard of honour held on the street here in the city, which
