00:00A chilly morning at the foot of the mountains couldn't stop the Panthers diehards from
00:07gathering for their record-breaking side.
00:13In front of thousands of supporters at the Penrith League's club, from behind sunglasses,
00:18the four-time victors were all smiles as they added the newest addition to their collection.
00:24With five grand final appearances in as many years, Panthers support runs through generations.
00:29I was in my mum's tummy when I was a member, like two months before I was born I was a
00:36member.
00:37For the young Panthers, there's a clear favourite.
00:39Like Toto.
00:40Toto.
00:41Toto.
00:42Toto.
00:43For the club's departing players, the day marked the end of a journey.
00:49It's been a crazy journey, man, and obviously a life after Penrith is a bit unknown for
00:54me but I've loved every minute of it.
00:56We're mates before teammates and we always want to be a family.
00:59The word surreal was being thrown around by both the community and the players today,
01:04still in disbelief even days after the game that they managed to pull off the history-making
01:10feat.
01:11Many in Penrith believe the club could cinch a fifth straight title next year.
01:16So I think we've done it four times but we can do it a fifth time.
01:20And playmaker Jerome Luai is even more confident in the long-term future of the club.
01:25A lot of us have a few sons in this team and it'd be pretty cool if they all sort of come
01:30through and start something up again so that's the dream for me.
01:34For the time being, however, there's no end in sight for the Panther pride.
