00:15 Good morning to you sir and good morning to our listeners.

00:19 First of all, how is the overall situation, not just in Marawi but in our nearby provinces?

00:26 Sir, as of now, there is no chaos happening right now.

00:33 In fact, we put all the Bangsamoro region in full alert status considering what happened

00:40 in Marawi yesterday.

00:43 It means that we put more policemen on the ground, we intensified our checkpoints and

00:51 police visibility is in place.

00:55 General Noblesa, a terrorist group, Islamic State, promised to bomb MSU.

01:01 Is this confirmed?

01:04 Sir, we have a person of interest and one of our person of interest pointed on local

01:17 terrorists.

01:18 Ah, local terrorists.

01:22 Can you tell us sir...

01:23 That's one of the angles that we are looking into.

01:25 We have a person of interest but investigation is still ongoing.

01:31 In order to prevent the investigation, we will not divulge the name.

01:36 But whatever you can tell us sir, how did the connection with the local terrorists occur

01:42 and how did they enter MSU?

01:47 And that is still subject of investigation.

01:50 As you know, our investigators already conducted a post-blast investigation and we created

01:57 an SITG or special investigation task group to focus and conduct investigation on the

02:04 matter and to expedite the investigation.

02:07 We are looking into many angles here.

02:11 As of now, how many suspects do we have and do we have a lead?

02:15 We have a person of interest right now.

02:18 We already... maybe more than two.

02:40 As you know, our intelligence community is receiving regular reports, not only in Marawi

02:48 City but in some parts of Bagsamole region.

02:52 That's why we intensified our target hardening efforts to prevent this from happening.

03:00 We know that MSU is a state-run university and they have their own peacekeeping security

03:10 force that in charge of the security inside the campus.

03:16 May we have an update on the number of victims here?

03:20 As of yesterday, there were four dead and I think 50 injured.

03:23 Is that correct?

03:24 Or maybe you have updated numbers?

03:27 The number of fatalities, we confirmed that four died here and 45 were wounded.

03:36 And out of these 45 wounded, 35 were already released by the hospital because they only

03:42 sustained minor injuries while 10 are still under medication at the Amoy Pagpak Hospital.

03:49 Are the injuries of the others critical?

03:53 There are five.

03:54 There are five critically injured and the others are minor injuries.

03:59 Okay. May we have an update on the threat of another explosion in Marawi City or other parts of the country?

04:10 What are we doing to prevent such threat?

04:14 Yes.

04:15 Since yesterday, we put all the Bangsamoro region under full alert status to ensure that

04:28 this will not happen again.

04:32 We asked our police to conduct visibility and intensified checkpoint operations.
