The Dallas Cowboys (9-3) beat the Seattle Seahawks (6-6) 41-35 in AT&T Stadium on Thursday Night Football. It wasn’t easy and it was a little too close for comfort tonight but the Cowboys offense answered late to give Dallas their 14th straight home win, extending their streak.
The Cowboys entered the fourth quarter down 35-27 and with a TE Jake Ferguson touchdown and a two-point conversion pass to Brandin Cooks it put the Cowboys ahead.
The defense struggled all night and that was no secret. Dallas leans on their defense more times than not to win football games and today it was the other way around. We spoke to RB Tony Pollard after the game and he said it’s all about complimentary football. Complimentary football has been the theme throughout the entire season for this team, Pollard said the offense showed up and made big plays for the team tonight when they needed to.
Pollard led in rushing with 20 carries for 68 yards and one touchdown.
CeeDee Lamb continues to add up yards, he finished the night with 12 catches for 116 yards and one touchdown.
Dak Prescott finished 29/41 for 299 yards and three touchdowns.
Prescott spoke following the game about the defense having an off night. He said even though the defense had an off game iron sharpens iron and the offense is who they are today because they practice against that top tier defense every week in practice.
Dallas will have a couple days off and then jump right into preparation for a big Eagles matchup next Sunday in AT&T Stadium for Sunday Night Football.
