00:00 I've done it because I love all the fancy dresses and I get to help charity work.
00:05 Seven-year-old Grace Mutati from Wortley has been reflecting on her journey to being crowned
00:11 Petite Miss Regency International. She's also continued to help those less fortunate with
00:16 her Children Help Children charitable initiative.
00:19 She needed to compete in the Diamonds Pageant United Kingdom first and she was representing
00:25 Leeds so after she won the United Kingdom one they sent her to Las Vegas to represent
00:32 United Kingdom in the Regency International Pageant in America.
00:37 She had many rounds. She had like the optional round like national wear, everyday wear, sports
00:44 wear, spokes model. We are particularly proud with her with the sports model. And then the
00:50 interview evening round and fashion round. You can say which one is your favourite maybe.
00:56 My favourite one was the evening one because I really, because I loved wearing my dress.
01:02 It was very big and it was very colourful.
01:06 I couldn't believe it when she won. I was like wow.
01:08 She was a proud dad.
01:09 Yeah, yeah. She made me a proud dad. And her speech was out of this world. It's something
01:17 I keep going over and over to go listening to.
01:20 There are around 32 countries at war at the moment. Terrorist conflicts, drug wars, civil
01:27 wars, ethnic wars. Wars that take away children's freedom and make them unhappy. No child should
01:35 be separated from their parent and watch their friends and siblings die. No child should
01:41 be starving in the dark corn bunkers, being either the human child or being forced to
01:46 fight. Children are missing the best part of their lives and education. Children are
01:52 being hurt every day because of greed, injustice and different beliefs. I am here today pleading
01:58 for peace, care and love. Every child deserves to be surrounded by peace, care and love.
02:04 Children deserve better. They deserve peace. This is the only right way ahead. Thank you.
02:13 Speaking of winning, we even promised her if she wins we're going to get her a dog,
02:24 which is, we thought, we looked at each other, we're like, she's not going to win anyway.
02:28 She always wanted a dog so we were like, yeah, we can motivate her with that but it's not
02:31 going to happen and now we're buying a dog.
02:33 I was very surprised when I won because even me, I didn't think I would win, basically.
02:39 Because there were more beautiful girls than me.
02:41 Well, in your eyes, but all of you were beautiful and unique on its own.
02:49 So, what's next for the Petite Miss Regency International winner?
02:54 I want to help more children in need. I want to keep pleading for love and care in the world.
03:01 And peace.
