Sunderland schoolgirl wins Little Miss Teen Great Britain and raises £90,000 for charity

Quinn Lux-Lownie talks about being crowned Little Miss Great Britain.

00:00 Okay then Quinn, how does it feel to be crowned Little Miss Teen Great Britain?

00:04 It was so overwhelming, I was so excited and joyful. I was just like, oh my gosh, I was

00:10 so happy. I was that happy that I was crying.

00:13 And what was it like waiting for the judgement to come through to find out who'd won?

00:17 It was really nerve wracking. Me and my friend were like standing and holding hands saying,

00:21 it's okay, if any of us win, it'll be happy.

00:25 And what did you have to do on the day? What sort of events did you take part in?

00:29 We had a pajama party, which was really fun. And then we also had to do interviews, which

00:35 was like what we're doing right now. And then we also done practicing the dance for the

00:41 opening round. And then we did opening, fashion, and then it was the crowning.

00:48 And did you have to wear different outfits for each event?

00:50 Yeah, for the opening you could wear red, white or blue. I chose blue because that's

00:56 my second favourite colour. And then for fashion, I wore a cat suit with a cape on it. And then

01:02 for evening, I wore a yellow dress and it was kind of like the style of this.

01:08 What's your ambitions for what you'd like to do in the future?

01:11 I want to try and become Miss World and also I really want to become a model.
