00:00 This is George Preece for Liverpool World.
00:02 Speaking after, Sean Dyche has just addressed the media ahead of their trip to Nottingham
00:04 Forest on Saturday in the Premier League.
00:07 Starting with team news, there are a few key concerns for Dyche to consider, including
00:11 Amadou Ananou who did miss out in the game against United last week and he will probably
00:14 miss out on this one as Dyche said it's very unlikely that he will feature this weekend.
00:18 And then there's a key doubt of Dominic Cavalluri and he has been rested across the last few
00:21 days in training as a precaution and given his injury history, the club have just been
00:25 careful with him ahead of the weekend and Dyche did not confirm whether he will be available
00:29 for the weekend so that one is up in the air as it stands.
00:32 One player who will be available for the trip to Forest is Beto who comes back into the
00:36 matchday squad having missed out against United last time round and with Dominic Cavalluri's
00:40 availability up in the air, it's definitely a big bonus for him to have someone like Beto
00:44 ready to lead the line if Cavalluri isn't ready.
00:46 There's been no update on Andre Gomez or Dele Alli and the last we heard, both of them
00:50 were just rehabilitated on their own in training and building up fitness ahead of a potential
00:54 return but at the moment there is no return date in sight for either of them.
00:57 One thing Dyche did comment on was the rumours about contract talks between him and the club
01:01 stalling because of the 10 point deduction.
01:04 He quickly shut down those rumours as being false and it was reported by the Daily Mail
01:09 earlier this week but like I said he shut those rumours down and said that he's just
01:12 focusing on the team at the moment and his current deal actually expires at the end of
01:15 next season so it's definitely a topic that's going to come up once again probably at the
01:19 end of this season depending on how the rest of the season goes.
01:22 I spoke to him at the end of the press conference about the right back situation, obviously
01:25 there's Nathan Paterson, Ashley Young and the returning Seamus Coleman to consider for
01:29 that position this weekend.
01:30 He claimed that Paterson is still inexperienced in the grand scheme of the Premier League
01:34 and needs a little bit more time but he's developing well and training well and he's
01:37 definitely in the mix to start at the weekend but he has gone on seniority and experience
01:42 at recent times using Ashley Young in that position whilst Coleman has been out and he
01:45 has made mistakes against Luton, Liverpool and Brighton so it's unclear who will play
01:50 in that position on Saturday.
01:52 Another topic that Dyche spoke about was the potential of the introduction of Sinbins into
01:56 the Premier League.
01:57 Now this is something that he was definitely against as he claims he doesn't agree with
02:00 it and doesn't think it's necessary for the game and he made some great points about the
02:05 players and when they're off the pitch, where do they go, where do they warm up, how do
02:08 you manage the fan reaction to it, if it's a ten minute suspension off the pitch then
02:14 are they allowed to warm up for the whole ten minutes so there are plenty of questions
02:17 to be debated with the potential introduction of Sinbins but it has been trialled at lower
02:20 levels in England so far and it has tested well for a reduction in descent but there
02:25 is no clear idea of when or if this will be brought in any time soon so it's definitely
02:31 something that will probably come up later in the season as well.
02:34 In terms of the game this weekend, Forest away at the City ground is typically a tough
02:37 place to go for any side, they drew 2-1 there last year in the relegation run in but Forest
02:42 have only won two of their seven games at home this season, drawing three and losing
02:46 two and they're also that key figure Taiwo Awonye who is out for a long period of time
02:52 this season, that takes away some of the threat but they have scored in every home game bar,
02:56 the one they've lost to Burnley so far this season and they've netted twice in each of
03:01 their last three games so for Everton it's going to be a tough encounter for them but
03:06 with the ten point deduction and last week's poor result against United they're going to
03:09 be ready and raring to go to take on this Forest side who are definitely beatable and
03:15 that should be hoping for some good news after what has been a tumultuous period for the
03:19 club once again.
