01:29 A study by a non-profit organization, Global Anti-Scam Alliance, and a Taiwan-based tech company,
01:36 found that the Philippines has the highest rate of shopping scam in 11 countries in Asia that they surveyed.
01:44 In their text messages, social media, and emails,
01:47 the common way to scam is to use the internet.
01:51 The common reason why Filipinos are easily scammed is because they respond to the demand of scammers or those who are attracted to special offers.
02:03 According to a tech expert, there are simple ways to avoid being scammed.
02:09 If someone offers you a job or a good opportunity or good items,
02:17 you don't know them, but as soon as they approach you, you snub them.
02:21 It's also good to report so that the people behind the modus can't scam you.
02:28 If you want to do online shopping, PNP is the best choice.
02:31 We will make a deal with the authorized online selling application.
02:39 You can be sure that you have a warranty for what you are buying.

03:09 What are you doing?
03:11 What are you doing?
03:12 They are beating us.
03:16 Let us go home.
03:18 Let us go home.
03:19 I will kill you. Stop touching me.
03:22 That was caught in August in Imus, Cavite where the police force broke into the house of a former college professor.
03:30 They searched the house even though there was no search warrant.
03:34 According to the son of the owner of the house,
03:36 the money he stole was 80,000 pesos that his mother saved, laptop and other things.
03:41 They planted more than 100,000 pesos of shabu before the former teacher was arrested.
03:47 Seven of them were dismissed from the service and were charged with the crime.
03:51 After almost four months, two of the arrested were dismissed.
03:56 The former professor was also released from prison after his case was dismissed.
04:02 First, we are hopeless because these police officers are ordinary civilians.
04:09 But the justice system here in the Philippines is still working.
04:15 June Veneration reporting for GMA Integrated News.
04:19 The former PNP chief and Health Undersecretary Camilo Casculan passed away at the age of 59.
04:28 His son announced the passing of Casculan.

04:39 He was appointed as DOH Undersecretary in October last year.
04:46 Tomorrow, President Bongbong Marcos will be visiting the Philippines for his study in the International Criminal Court or ICC.

05:06 The President is now asking that the foreign officials should not interfere in the duties of the institutions of the country.

05:23 De la Rosa said that he is ready to investigate and face the investigation but not the ICC.

05:42 The neighbors in Barangay Rio Tuba in Bataraza, Palawan were alarmed because of a flood.
05:49 The flood hit the houses at around 8 p.m.
05:54 According to Super Radio Palawan, the video was taken and the flood lasted only a few minutes and it also returned to the water.
06:02 The water in Bataraza is a natural habitat of the buaya.
06:06 Experts are warning that if the buaya sees it, do not approach it or touch it.

06:46 The first lady, Liza Araneta Marcos, is with the lighting team.
06:50 The 40-foot Christmas tree is Filipino.
06:53 It's not just a support for local talents and weavers.
06:56 There are thousands of decorations, locally sourced materials made by various indigenous communities.
07:03 Christmas balls are made of woven cloth while the torches are made of capis shells.
07:09 And because the theme is festive Filipino Christmas, the La Manila Dance Group gave life to various dances in the country.
