00:04 through some of the things coming up in the week ahead. First of all the future of the care system
00:09 is considered by many to be one of the most important issues facing the country and in
00:13 Yorkshire industry leaders are together for an event looking at how the sector can develop in
00:17 the coming years. The future of care leaders conference at pavilions in the great Yorkshire
00:22 showground at Harrogate goes ahead on Tuesday with speakers including dementia campaigner big Ian
00:28 Donaghy and the conference's chair Samina Ali Khan. Elsewhere on Thursday world leaders will
00:34 gather once again for the UN climate change conference this time called COP28 which is
00:39 taking place in Dubai. However according to research by the press association who surveyed
00:45 1,000 people when asked whether they believe commitments at COP28 will result in action only
00:50 one percent said that it was certain to followed by four percent saying that they believe it was
00:56 very likely and this weekend it will be the 85th anniversary of the kinder transport which brought
01:03 predominantly Jewish young people from Nazi occupied Europe to the UK. The first cohort
01:08 landed in Harwich Essex on December the 2nd in 1938 and around 10,000 more followed.
01:15 To mark the occasion there will be an event organized by the world Jewish
01:19 relief which was instrumental in organizing the kinder transport which translates to children's
01:25 transport as well as supporting children to integrate into the UK along with the association
01:32 of Jewish refugees. That event will take place at the kinder transport statue at Liverpool street
01:38 station in London.
