00:00 Sean "Diddy" Combs is denying allegations of rape, physical abuse and sex trafficking
00:05 by his ex-girlfriend, R&B star Cassie Ventura, in a disturbing new lawsuit.
00:11 In a complaint filed in federal court on Nov. 16 and obtained by E! News, Cassie claims
00:17 she was the victim of Combs' violence during their 11-year relationship.
00:23 The star, who met Combs back in 2005 when she was 19, says the musician aggressively
00:29 pursued a relationship with her despite their nearly 20-year age difference and the fact
00:34 that they were both in romantic relationships with other partners.
00:38 In the lawsuit, Cassie alleges over the course of their relationship that the rapper regularly
00:44 beat her up, repeatedly forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed
00:49 it.
00:50 The complaint also alleges Diddy "blew up a man's car" after he learned that he was
00:55 romantically interested in Ms. Ventura.
00:59 She says in 2018, when trying to leave the relationship, Diddy forced her into her own
01:04 home and raped her.
01:06 She also makes the allegation that he's responsible for getting her addicted to drugs
01:10 and alcohol.
01:11 E! News has reached out to Cassie's rep for comment and did not immediately hear
01:16 back.
01:17 In a statement to E! News, Diddy's lawyer, Ben Brafman, says Mr. Combs vehemently denies
01:22 these offensive and outrageous allegations.
01:25 For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura's persistent demand
01:31 of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship,
01:36 which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.
01:40 Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit
01:45 riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs' reputation
01:50 and seeking a payday.
01:52 E! News has reached out to Cassie's rep for comment and did not immediately hear
01:56 back.
01:57 In the lawsuit, Cassie states that she is now able to confront her abuser and to hold
02:02 him and those who enabled his abuse accountable for their actions.
02:06 The singer is asking the judge to award her damages for mental pain, anguish and severe
02:10 emotional distress, explaining that even though she has now fully escaped Mr. Combs, the harms
02:16 that the assaults and sexual abuse he caused her to experience for nearly a decade will
02:21 forever haunt her.
02:24 "I'm not going to get you.
