Russell Wilson on Cleveland Browns Defense and Myles Garrett Comparisons

Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson discusses facing the Cleveland Browns and compares Myles Garrett to some of the best players he's faced.

00:04 Obviously, Miles is a tremendous football player.

00:07 He's playing some of the best football in the National Football League.

00:10 I got a lot of respect for him.

00:11 He plays the game, he's tough, he's physical, he's fast, athletic.

00:13 I mean, he can do everything.

00:14 I think they got a lot of great players on defensive side.

00:20 Tinsel Ward's a great player.

00:21 They got some experience across the secondary too as well.

00:24 And their linebackers fly around.

00:25 It's a really good defense.

00:28 Big Zanarias too is a good football player.

00:30 So they got a lot of players that can do a lot of great things.

00:32 I think the best thing for us, just staying on schedule.

00:34 You don't wanna get in third and longs against these guys because their pass rush

00:37 is real and we wanna be able to slow them down by just staying on schedule and

00:41 first and second down and making it third down.

00:45 >> Yeah, I've played some of the top

00:48 defensive guys in National Football League.

00:50 Obviously, Max Crosby's one of them.

00:53 Chandler Jones had been one of them for years.

00:54 I got to play against so many other guys.

00:57 Von's another one.

00:58 Obviously, up front, you got Aaron Donald and different guys.

01:03 But Miles Garrett is definitely up there.

01:04 I think the thing that you can tell he's passionate about his craft,

01:10 just watching the film.

01:10 He gets better every year, it seems like.

01:14 And obviously, he was great from his first year on.

01:16 So I don't know how much better he can get.

01:19 I think that the best thing he does too is he causes havoc in the backfield.

01:23 He's able to get his hands up.

01:24 He's physical.

01:25 He's able to fly around.

01:26 He's probably one of the most athletic guys in the National Football League.

01:29 So we have slowed him down.

01:31 Obviously, he's one of the best in the game.
