00:00 Look, Stanford's really good.
00:03 One of the first times they've been fully healthy.
00:05 I thought our defense was really good with the exception of the start of
00:10 the second half.
00:11 Just an incredible game from a spectator standpoint.
00:16 >> Coach, just what are your thoughts on the offensive rebounding 21,
00:21 the made free throws 26 on a night where the shots weren't falling to get
00:24 the second chance opportunities and get to the strike?
00:27 >> Yeah, I mean, offensively rebound and we had some guys crashing.
00:31 We felt like they were gonna play zone and
00:33 that zone defense is really vulnerable to offensive rebounding.
00:37 That was one of the things that we discussed.
00:40 Even as late as our team meal this afternoon and
00:45 I thought the effort on the offensive boards was not great.
00:48 It was phenomenal.
00:48 Proud of how we played as far as toughness grinded out.
00:55 We're still discombobulated and trying to figure out who we are offensively.
00:59 And that's what happens with a changing roster like we have.
01:03 And that's why we've improved in the past and
01:05 Stanford's got a lot of guys back from last year just as UNCG did.
01:09 And so you're gonna see some continuity from some teams that have a lot of
01:13 returners and we're still trying to get guys like T mark and K battle and
01:17 laden in into this thing and figure out what we're running offensively.
01:22 [BLANK_AUDIO]
01:31 Well, we were running some action and then he was coming peeling back on
01:36 the second side.
01:37 I mean, we had one assist through a large portion of regulation.
01:42 Although we had 99 passes at halftime, just not a good flow offensively.
01:49 But in the huddles you can tell certain guys really want the ball and
01:53 felt like T mark was one of them.
01:55 I thought Divo was great down the stretch.
01:57 I thought T Brazil was phenomenal, especially on the offensive glass and
02:01 hit some key free throws as well.
02:03 >> It's for Trevin.
02:05 >> Are you guys done with me?
02:06 [BLANK_AUDIO]
02:14 Laden blocker, unbelievable.
02:16 What happens is if we're lacking productivity in some spot,
02:22 we got to go to someone else.
02:23 I thought pinion played his minutes good too.
02:26 He didn't do anything wrong.
02:27 I thought he played really hard.
02:28 Blocker was absolutely phenomenal.
02:31 Memphis coach Hardaway does a great job.
02:33 They play really, really hard.
02:36 They got some size up front and then they got really good length at the wings.
02:43 Obviously, Hardaway played really good for them shooting the basketball.
02:47 David Jones is a handful because he can play multiple positions.
02:54 Jake Juan Walton is a multi skilled player Mills.
02:59 They got a lot of guys that are kind of positionless players Memphis does.
03:02 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:06 For the staff really late and we'll go eat and we are prep ready.
03:11 But right now rest and for these guys getting ready is gonna be important.
03:15 >> Thanks.
03:17 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:20 >> Trevin, 17 rebounds in this game, eight of them all offensively.
03:24 On a night where you were just three of 12 from the field,
03:26 just what what keyed your aggression on the glass?
03:28 >> When the shots aren't falling, you gotta do other things.
03:34 To stay in the game, just like coach said,
03:36 he'll go to somebody else if I'm not producing.
03:38 So I just try to stay on the glass and rebounds were coming to me.
03:42 So it was all good.
03:44 >> And what do you think about T marks performance tonight?
03:47 Kind of the same situation, the shots weren't really falling for you guys, but
03:50 he was relentless getting to the line.
03:51 I think 12 to 15 from the stripe.
03:53 How important was that?
03:54 >> Sure, when shots are going in, coach always tells you gotta get downhill.
03:58 We know T marks a big shot maker.
04:00 No, we want him to do it all summer.
04:02 We want him to do it through the games that we played.
04:04 And we trust him so.
04:05 [BLANK_AUDIO]
04:10 >> He was exceptional tonight.
04:12 Just relentless on the defensive end, picking up the ball full court.
04:17 I think we need stuff like that.
04:19 We need stuff like that more often.
04:21 He's just a freshman, but guys were feeding off him tonight,
04:25 especially in the beginning of that second half.
04:27 Well, the whole second half, guys were feeding off him on the defensive end, and
04:30 he did his thing tonight.
