00:00 Manchester City are back in Premier League action this weekend following the
00:03 two-week international break and it's a pretty huge game for them and with
00:07 Liverpool coming to the Etihad it's first be second of course old rivals and
00:11 well established under Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp I think friendly rivals by
00:16 and large there have been a couple of in the last couple of years one or two
00:19 suppose strong tackles going in and plenty of on-field arguments and
00:24 disagreements between the two clubs but by and large there's a there's a huge
00:28 amount of respect for the two sides who think between them have won the last I
00:31 think it's six Premier League titles but yeah I mean in terms of injuries for
00:36 Manchester City ahead of the game there's actually quite a few issues for
00:39 them I think the big ones Erling Haaland and he suffered that ankle injury against
00:43 Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago there was a lot of doubt whether he was going
00:46 to be involved in the Champions League game against young boys he did just pull
00:49 through for that game and then played against Chelsea before the international
00:52 break but since then he suffered a recurrence of that problem when he was
00:55 away with Norway and then didn't play in the second of Norway's two games over
00:58 the international break the the 3-3 draw against Scotland and as a result it's a
01:02 big doubt for the game against Liverpool I would be I personally think he probably
01:06 will be involved it seemed to be like an ongoing niggle rather than a than a
01:10 really acute injury and problem for the striker so I think he'll be involved
01:13 against Liverpool personally but there are plenty of other issues for Pep
01:17 Guardiola to deal with and four players pulled out of their respective
01:21 international squads with injuries over the break Ederson I mean obviously a key
01:25 player for City and the first-row goalkeeper he pulled out of the Brazil's
01:28 squad Nathan Ake actually pulled out before the international break even
01:33 started because he missed the draw against Chelsea before the break and at
01:37 the same time pulled out of the Netherlands squad so he was involved
01:40 Mateo Kovacic is also pulled out and Matthijs Nunes so I mean that's four
01:44 players look I don't think Nunes, Kovacic and Ake are kind of amongst
01:49 the four or five most important players in the team but certainly Ederson and
01:53 Haaland are you know are big players that if they're not involved for City
01:57 and should also mention that John Stones is a long-term problem or certainly next
02:01 couple of weeks anyway we're not expecting him to be involved and
02:03 likewise Kevin De Bruyne we're not gonna see until the new year we don't think so
02:07 plenty of injury issues for Manchester City Sergio Gomez could be back for City
02:12 and at the weekend he's been recently seen getting off a bus on crutches but I
02:18 think even if he's not gonna be involved is he so yeah plenty of injury issues
02:23 for City and I think that Guardiola will give an update on Friday in his press
02:27 conference and we'll have to see who's involved
