Nationwide Recall: Listeria Outbreak Linked to Peaches, Plums, and Nectarines

Peaches, plums, and nectarines distributed by HMC Farms and sold nationwide as recently as last week are being recalled due to an outbreak of listeria that has resulted in 11 illnesses, including one death and 10 hospitalizations. The recall involves fruit sold between May 1 and November 15 of this year as well as during the same period in 2022, and the fruit was sold by retailers including Walmart and Sam's Club around the U.S. The recalled fruit was sold in 2-pound bags branded "HMC Farms" or "Signature Farms," or as individual fruit that has a "USA-E-U" code and number.
